Thoughts & Predictions.
Pikeville has not won at Hazard in this century.
Last win at Hazard was by a Matt Branham led Panther squad on September 10th, 1999.

Ill take Pikeville by 28

Pikeville will win but not by 28....Hazard stout up front with good run defense!Pikeville will be able to run the ball somewhat but the weakness of the Bulldog defense is in the secondary! My prediction is Pikeville 36 Hazard 20

Pulling for Hazard but i don't think Hazard has beat Pikeville the last few years and I doubt this year will be any different. Pikeville 46 - Hazard 28

You have convince me Panther Thunder that old Dawgs are old Dawgs. I like Pikeville in this game but I'm going back to my roots in 1A with hazard.

100% right I'm hoping to come and watched this one. I think Corbin plays on Thursday night and Williamsburg has another bye week. :relaxing:

You got some ocean front property for sale in Arizona, too. Right? HaHa! Should be a great game though.

Another cake walk for The Panthers, if Hazard's defense is anything like Bourbon Co's was this past weekend.

This will be a good game and I'm glad to be able to go watch it. Hopefully Hazards run defense keeps up the good work. Hopefully they can make Pikeville depend on the passing game.

Hazard defense is 10x better than Bourbon Co's.

Pikeville has to mix it up. They have been way too conservative/predictable and haven't used all their weapons enough.
Scenario 1: Pugh 25 carries, other backs 4 carries, 8 passes:
Hazard 21, Pikeville 14
Scenario 2: Pugh 15 carries, B Charles/C Charles/other backs 10 carries, 10 screens/other passes, 1 or 2 gadget plays:
Pikeville 35, Hazard 21
Pugh gets the same (big) yardage and 2 or 3 TD's under either scenario...

Jet I really think
Pikeville needs to get Jarrell some more catches and touches. Vanderbeck seems to be the new QBs favorite target.

Pikeville by 20+ hazard is down this year compared to what they have been in the past. Pikeville lost to belfry and paintsville and they are going take it out on whoever they can. I look for pikeville to walk off with this one easy

I agree . I don't think we've seen exactly what Chattlin Jarrell is capable of just yet. Too much talent not to be getting more reps.
