Tigers are ramping it up

I screwed it up, it's Ridgeview Va.

Ridgeview is a huge disappointment to me...thought they would be much better...
The team that beat them by 14 (Central, VA) lost to Letcher Central tonight so that tells you where Central and Ridgeview are at this point...

Have to say when i first saw this score i was suprised and was ready to crown Paintsville the favorite of the east in 1A. But seeing has how the team that gave RV a 14 point loss, Central (VA), got beat by Letcher County by a score of 44-43, who Pikeville thumped, Im still up in the air. Raceland's defense looked like a solid contender only giving up 70 yards of total offense (including a -5 in the rushing column for Greenup County), but 4 empty trips to the redzone, 3 turnovers (some really bad ints), and dumb penalties took a STATEMENT blowout win of 4 or 5 TDs and reduced it to an unimpressive offensive performance and a 12-6 win. I guess we arent going to find much out about the eastern contenders until it all plays itself out. As it stands right now, its looking like all of the defenses are stout. Which should make for some absolutely incredible football in November. Congrats to Paintsville either way. Love seeing KY schools pop the other "power football high school states" i. The mouth. ie: VA/OH...Beechwood thumped Ironton OH tonight 35-19.

Paintsville is damn good, that's all I'll say

And so was Pikeville last year and you see how that played out. Im still not sold on anybody from the east as a favorite.

Kickoff specialist from Brazil looked pretty good after shaking off butterflies. 4 out of 6 Kick offs in the endzone.

I just love how everybody builds up Paintsville's opponents then when they lose they talk about how bad they are and how it was their fault. Not that the Tigers just plain whipped them. :dontthink

Who built up their opponents? Frankfort is very bad and Ridgeview got exposed when they lost to Central as not being very good. No reflection on Paintsville at all, just 2 bad teams. Next you will beat Williamsburg who lost about all of their starters and act like you beat 2014 Williamsburg.
