I saw improvement in the Black Bears tonight. They still have a ways to go, but they are working hard.

KC has great size, and this game pretty physical. A couple of injuries tonight...hope everybody is okay.

We needed the win. Still to many mistakes. A lot of people thought we would start 0-5 or 1-4 put we are 2-2 with a good chance to be 3-2 with a win over Henry Clay. After seeing Central win over St X tonight this team has a chance to be special, if we can eliminate the penalties.

HC has a nice QB WR combo with 14 and 7. Really good game. When we got up 33 to 9 HC showed great character and battled back. We ran the ball well. D line did not get a pass rush. Penalties ... Still a nice win against an improving team in their yard.

Yeah I like Simmons #7. He's just a soph I'm pretty sure. He is gonna make big plays over the next couple of years.

I like the fact that HC is throwing the ball more. I think they are on the right track to be a great team again. I would like to give a big shout out to the Harlan fans and workers they are always so nice and you guys have a beautiful stadium. This is one of my favorite places to visit.
KC must get their act together if they are going win the district. I think they have lots of potential they need to find that passion and have fun. Best of luck to both teams the rest of the season.

When up as big as the panthers where and then let it get within a touchdown is on the coaches more than the players. Coaches put everything on cruise control, then when you do that the players lose their hype and its hard to turn it on like turning on a light..

Sounds like Knox had it in hand. That said, I'm glad the Harlan Co. boys still played to the buzzer. Harlan County has the enrollment and makeup to get back to success. It will take some time, but it sure sounds like there were signs of optimism in this game.
