The score says it all...well, actually it doesn't say it all...this was a running clock game in the 3rd quarter. Ashland is just way better than Russell this year. McKee playing might have kept it from a running clock, but it really didn't matter in the outcome.

Congratulations Tom Kittens.
You put one on us tonight.

Bob Seger's Johnson Central team might have their hands full this year.

Ashland played great and Russell just played terrible. Ashland is much better this year. Russell didn't help themselves with four turnovers and very poor tackling. I would also like to see Russell throw the ball down the field to stretch the field a bit.

Would someone please explain the running clock rule to Dick Martin. He ranted over and over again about the clock stopping on penaltys. Well guess what Dick it's supposed to. I've never seen a more appropriate named individual.

^Amen to that one.

It's a shame Russell isn't on live radio this year. Ashland and Ironton are the only games to listen to while you're at the games if you don't want to use up your data plan.

Let's here it .. Man Russell is slow man Russell is over hyped man Russell is in troubled , that's the same crap you guys said about Raceland .. How about Ashlands pretty good

Ashland is pretty good. Raceland and Russell are pretty similar. That game will be a great one to wrap up the season.

The Ams are still slow. Looked it then and now.
The Tomkittens are pretty good.

I desperately need a silver lining to this game. The young Devils looked good once they got in the game. Austin Braden ripped the ball right out of the hands of the Tomcat fullback and sprinted 70 yards for a TD. Russell's youngsters also looked good, running and throwing, on the last drive of the game. I really like the look of Ryan Stump and Jaeden Layne. It would be nice to see them incorporated into the offense a little more on Friday nights.

Congrats to Ashland

Silver Lining - They can't play worse than that.

Aren't you claiming to be a Lexington Catholic fan in your previous posts? It's kind of odd that you're claiming to be a Lex Cath fan and trolling in a Ashland/Russell thread. Very interesting.

Good win cats. Start focusing Ironton in the morning. Good look to Russell on the rest of the season. Hope to see you in Bowling Green.
