Danville @ Corbin 9-11-15

Could be a trap game for Corbin. Pay not attention to the score last week as Danville is a good team. The Ads can move the chains. It would not surprise me at all if Danville was to pull this game out.

I don't think even with the athletes showing up in true form from Danville, they can beat Corbin at home. Corbin 32 Danville 14

I respect both teams, but I think most of you guys are underestimating Danville they are much improved over last years team, and their speed is starting to return not saying they're the Danville of old but they have more speed than they've had in awhile.

Danville could very well win this game, they and Corbin have had some battles in the past, and Danville has an explosive offense that can score, but I don't think you understand how good Corbin is either.

Is Corbin better than last year?

that's yet to be seen, but it is very likely.they are big and strong on the line and have unbelievable depth.

I see that Corbin won by 8 last year and IMO Danville was terrible last year especially on defense there are two things that stand out to me about Danville this season thier offense is much improved and they actually have a good run defense IMO Danville is probably a 2 to 3 TD better team on offense and much better defensively it's a whole lot easier to score on them passing the ball than running it.

Jack this is a very good Corbin team. Last year Corbin should have won 3A. Your Question "is Corbin better than last year". I don't think so right now....But what I do know Danville will need to better than they was last year to beat Corbin. Corbin front 4 on defense is pretty *** good. With that said I still stand Corbin 42 Danville 14...Before the year is over yes Corbin will be better than last year. Confusedinglepar

IMO Danville is much better than last year on both sides of the ball, and if Corbin don't beat Danville by 42 to 14 or something close to that like you're predicting the they won't make much noise in 3A at seasons end.

Corbin by a few tds

I think Danville speed will give Corbin trouble. I'm going to go with the Admirals in very good game 31-30

I want to retract part of my last post because Corbin must've improved a great deal last year after the Danville game, and I'm sure they will do the same this year so you Hound fans have my apology.

Is this the first true test for Corbin? The 3 teams they've defeated have 1 Win amongst them.

Danville has had the better schedule thus far.

We will see if Danville's air raid wins out over Corbin's ground attack. Thus far the Ads have done well vs the ground game.

Why do you feel Corbin was the best team last year? They lost a heartbreaker to Central but Belfry did finish the job vs them in Bowling Green.

Danville speed will make this close.... Maybe... Louisville Waggoner had lots of speed as well.

Danville hurt Corbin last year(Ad's QB was 18-22) the same way Central did, via the air attack, but hopefully that is an area that has improved. If Corbin's pass defense hasn't improved, they had better be able to run the ball, eating up the clock and keeping the Danville offense on the sideline as much as possible. This game will give Corbin a barometer of where they are and what they need to improve on to compete with the best teams in 3A this year.

It's good to see Danville football on the way back to where they have almost always been, at the top of their class and competing for championships.

Corbin fan need for this game to be a win and a blow out win. Why ? If they want to be in the discussion of top 3A teams they have to handle Danville the same way that Boyle co did. A big win would place them firmly in the top three. Anything else will only give a bad expectation of there out come in a championship push. I think this game has more ramifications than any game they will play up to the Bell co game. If they win this game big and lose to Southwestern and Mayfield they can still be in the discussion for tops of 3A

I disagree with them being able to lose to Mayfield and still be at the top in 3a. Wouldnt you say Boyle Co is better than Mayfield. I really think they have to win the Mayfield game.

I disagree, the outcome of this game will mean nothing once the playoffs start. Corbin just needs to keep improving and see where they are compared to Boyle Co., Lex Cath,, etc. when November rolls around.

Corbin has a first year starter at QB, WR, and RB. The more in game experience these guys get, the better the team will be... Right now the D is really ahead of the offense. Which is to be expected in most teams. But, these guys are so young on both sides of the ball.. And.. That's the upside to this Corbin Team! That's why they will be an extra tough out when the playoffs get here.
