Look for the dawgs to rest a lot of players. R. Dalton will play a lot of defense and special teams with some offense sprinkled in. He is still learning the system. T. Dalton will probably still be out just to make sure he is healthy. This team has a ton of depth. 8 rushers for positive yardage against Fairview. Most teams have 3 backs at most. Now LC can have T. Dalton and R. Dalton as special teams return, wide receivers, and corners on defense. Look for the dawgs to ground and pound to another win. 2nd half exploring the depth chart in this scrimmage game.

Would like to see LC get the younger players in a little bit earlier in this game if they get the chance. I felt they left a lot of starters in during the Fairview game pretty late and missed a chance to get their JV some decent playing time. I know they have been starting a few younger guys and subbing a few during the game and they have done a pretty good job. #44 has been done a great job up front. Maybe let that new kicker try and get some field goals in if the chance presents itself.

Having both Daltons healthy and on the field in the same time is amazing and just raises the overall skill and athleticism of the entire team. That's going to be an interesting team to watch when everyone is healthy and clicking on all cylinders.

Go Dawgs! They should win by a couple touchdowns.

I think when everyone is healthy you will see the daltons back deep on kickoffs, with chaffins and keesee the up backs. Any of the 4 can take it to the house. I think you will see alot of squib kicks in the future. The only problem I see is there is only one football. If robert can play corner it would be great he has the speed to close a receiver. Timmy does not play a lot of corner but now you are looking at chaffins and dalton at corners richardson and keesee at safety also have miller and dotson that have both played very well. May see them move keesee up linebacker. Just to get more speed on the field.

who's the new kicker and where did he come from? Someone said he has played soccer before and is accurate from 40 yards if that's true that sure would be a great addition to this team.

both daltons on the field on defense take away the deep pass. robert is like dieon sanders, he can cover both sides of the field by himself. both daltons on the field on offense is scary. robert is faster than timmy.

Would love to see Keesee at LB somewhere, I think that would be an awesome idea. Getting everyone back and playing at the same time gives us a ton of depth in the secondary and it would be great if Kiser didn't have to play defense. Don't get me wrong, he is an excellent defender but the less risk he gets put in the better. He is the wheel that makes this whole thing go. I am very curious about how the coaches go about using Timmy and Robert.

I don't know bout being like Deion yet til I see how fast he picks up things after being away from the game so long. I must say that Chaffins sure played like him taking interceptions and kick returns to the house. He had a monster game! Glad he decided to come back and play.

I am not sure where he came from. I have watched him kick some huge field goals during practice before the youth league kids had practice and he was draining them from +40 with plenty left. I don't think we have ever had a kicker with that kind of leg at this school. He has done a good job on the pat's but I don't know how he will be in game situations kicking one from further out.

His last kickoff went in the endzone for a touchback, 1st one of those I have seen for lc in years.

I don't know much about Powell other then they are 3A and they lost to Casey county 36-13 and a much improved West Carter team 48-13. I would say they aren't very good and I would say with all our starters in we could probably name the score, but withe the injuries we have and resting some players who need it........."I hope" I say

Just off the top of my head this is what I would do. I would rest #5 Keesee and let him get his leg healthy, I would give Kiser very limited play time, I would keep #11 Dalton on the sideline if he is even ready to go yet, I would give Powell a healthy dose of #1 Robert Dalton and let him get some valuable play time. I don't know who else is dinged up, but I would rest everyone and if any who were injured were set to come back in this one I would think hard about keeping em out one more.

If they are medically cleared to play they will be on the field. They may not play as much but cecil is not going to sit them at homecoming their sr. Year. Only thing that will keep them of the field is a doctor. And I bet money you can ask any of the players and they are 100 percent ready to go.

Yeah you are probably right. I don't see any of these kids willing to sit out their homecoming game and I know the coaches would not ask them to. It is important especially for the senior kids at homecoming. Anyone have any news about the player that got a concussion against Montgomery?

I would love to see that speed on defense, but I doubt this coaching staff will be able to pass up a chance to see what he can do running and receiving also. And I would say he will see some kick return time also.

lc needs to use this game to work on o-line and d-line starters. these are the guys that will get them where they want to go. without outstanding line play it does not matter how many skill players you have. lc needs to test every player they have this game because from here on out it gets a lot harder.

Yes and believe it or not, but Sep 18th against Greenup County is going to be a huge test at their place. This ain't the Greenup that people scheduled in the past as a breather game. This 2015 Greenup team will punch you right in the mouth. Then it's on to Raceland who put us in our place last season. I believe that game should have been more competitive, but now the kids who were a part of that stomping can go out and prove it. Come October 9th that team needs no introduction and we have a lot of work to do to make that game anywhere near as competitive as the October Belfry game from last season.
The funny thing is, I just noticed that according to our schedule we have Raceland at home on Oct 2nd but that was a home game last season also was it not?
