SC certainly didn't try to run up the score. They have less than 30 kids. They put in JV for the entire second half. They don't have enough kids to take out every varsity player. You can't put kids in against varsity opponents if the coaching staff feels they can't protect themselves. Noatter how far ahead they may be.

Congrats to SC on the big win. Betsy Layne's team is extremely young, and it shows. They lost 16 seniors from their 30 man team and only return about 3 offensive starters and one defensive starter. They will improve with time, experience, and hard work.
