What can be done to fix mess at Letcher? To many starters back from last year to be this bad!Defense is absolutely terrible! Who is the d coordinator? Do they practice tackling? The Cougars are getting embarrassed!

Watching the game at home. Very obvious Pikeville is just a lot better. Got way too many athletes for Letcher Cent to contend with

From the little I watched I was able to make a few observations.
Pikeville has a quality oline.
Pikeville has an aggressive and athletic front 7 that is willing to play tuff against the run.
Pugh is a VERY GOOD back. Kind of kid who could win a game even if the rest of his team is a tad outmatched. That good imo.
The 11 on the field at any given time for Pikeville all pass the eye test.
Letcher's D is not good. They grab not tackle.
Pikeville has a quality oline.

It's Holcomb not Halcomb.
When you are facing teams that has running backs and talented players like Daric Pugh, your gonna have problems. Letcher Central will be just fine.

But, having said that, if you didn't realize it from the Pike Central game, they got exposed then too. It was obvious even on the little film I was able to view. They simply played at much better TEAM tonight with too many players, which meant they couldn't key on one person. Too early to be talking about Holcombs "worst" team. They need to go back to tackling 101, that's all. I think they bought into their own hype a little and didn't expect Pikeville to punch them in the mouth like that.

Not a Kcc fan. Kcc 3A got beat by a 2A team. LCC 5A got embarresed by a 1A team. As far as Kcc basketball goes when has your team been to state. Now that embarrassing. Lcc scored how many points to a very small school?

Not to mention LCC lost two QB's last night. Pikeville was the better team, but don't think Letcher is awful.

I don't think this is even close to the worst team ever for Letcher. Give coach Holcomb time, the man is a proven winner. You need to wipe the whole 1A thing out of your mind because Pikeville is a quality football team who may win a championship and the only difference between 1A and 5A is the amount of people on the bench, but only 11 can be on the field at a time. If you ask me with teams like Pikeville, Paintsville, Raceland, Williamsburg, Hazard and Fairview 1A has been pound for pound the best and strongest class in the east/south east side of this state for a few years now.

"Nope" Your not a Knott fan at all. You have something against Letcher and last I checked no other Pikeville fan is complaining about Letcher or how they got a player. People change schools all the time. This is America and people can go to school and play a sport wherever they want. If my kid was good at a sport and he wanted to go play for a well known coach who can probably get him more prepared for the next level then that is what he is going to do. Get over it kid, it's not like he would make Knott any better. After the drubbing Knott just got I think they would need about 21 more just like him.
