East Ridge travels to Hindman where Brad Allen gets another shot at John Paul Chapman. Should be a decent ball game. Kickoff is at 7:30PM
I'm taking the Warriors by 20.

Who will win

East Ridge looks to be the better team. Knott played Jackson County pretty tough, but East Ridge is better than Jackson County. I wouldn't say East Ridge will win by 20, but a 20-6 score wouldn't surprise me. Should be an interesting game.

Fatpat will be living the high life on Friday night. Warrior stew and fried taters. I don't know which will be worse. The beatdown I put on those taters or the beatdown my Pats put on ridge.
Pats by 17. More mash taters please!

After dropping out of district play for a couple of years, I feel like East Ridge developed the confidence it needed to build a respectable program. Brad Allen is once again Head Coach, and with him coaching last year at Belfry, I feel like it gave him the experience he needed, to move the program forward. On the other hand, John Paul Chapman has taken over a Patriots program that was in shambles. It wont be long until Knott County contends for a district championship, but I don't think it will be this year. With that being said, I think the mentor (Allen) defeats the teacher (Chapman) by a score of 34-20. Good luck to both teams, on the upcoming season!!

Pulling for East Ridge
Never been a fan of Chapman's actions on the sidelines... but absolutely no denying whatsoever that he will win games and raise that KCC program to a level it has not seen in a long time.
Brad Allen, OTOH, is impossible not cheer for. One of the true good guys in EKY and a guy who has a passion to try and raise East Ridge his own way.
If Chapman wasn't the Head Coach I would say ER would roll...but I expect a different Patriot team to take the field.
I will say:
East Ridge 26
Knott Central 20

Looks like you are going to be wrong a lot this year! Stop hating on the PATS, we all know we aren't great but we are improving and will be competitive for the first time in 20 years!

I keep scrolling up and your posts keep being wrong! Things have changed, the feeder program has started to pay off and will only get better as the years go by.
