What is your poison???

I wanted to try this. I know some people frown upon drinking but I do partake on occasion. For me I like beer on a hot day after work and being tired. I like liquor and mixed drinks when it's time to celebrate or out with friends. So what do you like to drink if you drink.

I like a lot of mixed drinks but my favorite is probably the Long Island Iced Tea.

I don't drink. I've never really liked the taste. Back in the day (last time was in 1998) I preferred Jim Beam. I never liked the taste of that either but it was made in Kentucky and a few shots and my goal of being intoxicated was achieved.

"Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy!" - Ben Franklin

I'm a lite domestic beer drinker with the occasional import lager, some bourbon to cut thru cold and flu season when really congested and have a sore throat.

Wine at special events ( weddings, anniversary parties ). And once in a blue moon I'll sample some clear from a jar with friends in the hills of Kentucky and in North Carolina.

Nicotine free and thankfully drug free. Like do double g I enjoy a few beers after a hard days work or working in our yard!

As with anything there's good, bad, and ugly....and to achieve good or even great it takes more time and work. Have someone explain to you the metaphor of the head, body, and tail. And what goes back thru the still to produce the different qualities and grades. I'm not that guy to explain it...Confusednicker:

I've had great moonshine which doesn't give you a hangover if respected and enjoyed in moderation. Disrespect a good/bad/ugly moonshine and you are up poop creek!

Beer when after mowing the yard or sitting on a creek bank relaxing, but to just sit around and socialize sip on good ole creek water (moonshine) for those that don't understand the adage.

I was in Lexington with some girlfriends this past weekend, and had a margarita. I couldn't TELL you the last time I drank alcohol. I simply can't tolerate it. Guess I should drink more and build up that tolerance! Confusednicker:

You may have gotten some bad shine baby! Good moonshine will have the finest of beads on top, if shaken. And it never ever is tinted blue; no matter WHAT somebody else says!! Clear as spring water, and goes down very smooth. Never a hangover.

Or at least, that's what I'm told!

If your drinking that flavored junk you might ad well run down to the store and get you some pampers too. Who would ruin good shine?

I like some of the flavored Moonshine. What i don't like is if i drink too much and get sick. It's not so good coming back up. Still though, clear is the best.

I hear it pairs well with wormy bananas.

Crown Royal for me please.

Vegas Bomb's are a good mixed drink with Crown. 1oz Crown, 1/2oz Malibu Rum, 1/2oz Peach Schnapps and top it off with Red Bull.
#28
^^That sounds terrible!!

I KNEW if we started talking about you, you would show up. Besides football season is upon us!!
