Johnson County Flood Victims
#1
Everyone, please be in prayer for the flood victims of Johnson County.

I witnessed first hand, the horrible devastation and tragic loss that these folks have endured. This level of devastation is only matched by the love, support and donations of Kentucky folks.

Pap and I were there last weekend, and it restored my faith in humanity. It also humbled me.

Vehicles were lined up to drop off donations by the truck full. Volunteers blanketed the school inside and outside to help place the donations where they could be gotten easily. Everyone talked like they were old friends, and several men were cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for anyone and everyone, free of charge.

I know that I am biased, but it made me proud to be part of the Commonwealth of Kentucky......especially the mountains. Good or bad Kentuckians seem to rally behind their own.

Pray for Johnson County.

We had a church member that was devastated by this tragic flood. Her and her family lost everything and going down there and helping her and her family out really put things in perspective for me.
