Pikeville has more overall talent. You are being superstitious and using reverse psychology.you know you think Pikeville will win by 21 and you wont be saying mayday until you crash in Bowling Green nicker:

I think the East will win in BG. You should come to Paintsville for the Pikeville game. Awesome old school venue and you have to be 3 TDs better to come away with a win. :truestory:

I agree no predictions is a good thing. But Pikeville has choked the past 2 years and especially last year. But seeing Williamsburg dismantle Hazard like they did I still think they were 2 TDs better than the rest of the east. But in 2015 I think the east is wide open as ever and 5 teams have a shot at BG.
Raceland, Paintsville, Pikeville, Hazard and Williamsburg. Fairview and Pineville could spoil it but they are long shots.

Ill take beechwood over the east in bowling green. They was scary good last year. Mayfield played one of there best games to beat them, and like Mayfield it all hinges on there line this year as they return most of there skill positions.

bac2369 Wrote:^ Well said big five o. I agree I will root for who ever comes out of the east. Williamsburg this year should of won the title but didn't. They were really impressive in 2014. 2013 they was not. They were good but not as good as this 2014 team. But Good luck to all our east teams in 2015.
The burg was good in 2014, but I wouldn't put them in the impressive category. Mayfields team was hardly one of there strongest. Leaving the state game in 2013 a lot of us Mayfield fans where saying if we can get through next year we should be really good again. Any way you slice it 2014 was a rebuilding year, and the cards surprisingly won the title. You are correct Williamsburg should have won the title with what they returned. How often does a team return 11 on 1 side of the ball, and 9 on the other from a team that appeared in the title game, plus add what most said was one of the best rb's from that side of the state. It was a missed opportunity for sure. I still think beechwood was better than Williamsburg though. Mayfield played there A game to beat beechwood, and a C- game to beat the burg. Mostly due to the respect they have for beechwoods team. Its hard to take a team seriously you was up on 35-0 in the first quarter.

I know it's over, but I'd love to see them play that game again with a full healthy Cody Estep and Pugh. That being said, the better team won that night. Pikeville just has to move on. I know for a fact the boys have a bad taste in their mouths for how last season ended. It's very possible they will have a couple losses this year, but I look for them to make a deep run. Had a realy good turnout every day for weights, drills, etc.

True. Cody Estep played that game with a broken foot, and Deric Pugh was banged up pretty bad. Just goes to show how much grit and determination they both have. Cody Estep is gone, but no doubt Deric Pugh will have that grit and determination carried over into this season along with being bigger, stronger, and faster.

use calpreps and see how the 2014 team was rated compared to past Mayfield teams. Fact is a bunch of newcomers beat the burg. Ive got your lame for you.

No you don't want to see them play again. No team could possibly overlook another team, or a team just have an off night. Pikeville just was flat out not very good according to this way of thinking, kinda like Williamsburg not being much better than Newport when they sqeaked by.:biglmao:

rebuilding but had several weapons on the bench that they didn't have to use? .talk about a poor display of sportsmanship. You sure are lame.truth is Williamsburg gave them all they wanted and then some and they were lucky to escape.:lame:

Never said anything about weapons on the bench, but since you brought it up the fastest receiver never did leave the bench.

I give Paintsville their props, they smacked Pikeville in the mouth and won. But don't for a minute think a WR playing on a foot broken so bad it required surgery within a short time of the end of the season and a banged up RB the caliber of Pugh didn't have an effect on the offense. That's just realistic. I wouldn't say Pikeville would win like they did in the first game because I know Paintsville had some injuries as well, but they would win 99 out of 100 times playing. If you can't acknowledge that, you don't know as much football as you pretend to. We will just let this season do the talking.

Nice to know there's a good turnout in the weight room and drills. One lineman I look to see much improvement from this season is Tanner Roop. I can see him replacing Bryson Patton at tackle.

11 out of 15 was starter and if you are counting the kicker and punter then it would be 12 out of 15 at williamsburg. And your last question WILLIAMSBURG. nicker:
