8th grader Peyton Gregory throws a 3 hit shutout against defending state champ Scott County. Jags play Anderson County next. Great bounce back wins over Montgomery County and specially Scott County.

I agree. I really thought North would win when they came back to take the lead in the top of the 7th. I think the state tournament experience paid off for Johnson Central. North was a pretty young team with not a lot of state tournament experience from their older players, and it showed. Vires and Mills were only 2 with any experience with Yantz out. Got to give credit to the Lady Eagles. Great comeback.
