WOW, was not expecting this, especially since Southern lost to two teams that Estill beat earlier in the season...Then again this could have been mostly JV players playing for Estill...

Southern has the talent to be a very solid team, it's just taken a while for it to come together.

Estill's last game before yesterday's was March 31. After that time off, why would Estill play their JV players against Southern?

Possibly. Engineers will be ready for tournament time, any way it goes! Playing solid programs, as Coach Beard has always done, separates Estill from the rest of the 14th.

I honestly don't know. I'm assuming the JV Players played more. No stats have been entered on Estill's game changer.

If you know anything about Estill softball these are warm up games for the district and regional tournament. This program never gets excited about a loss or a big win until it counts. Estill had all its players at the game yesterday but we are struggling with the hitting but that will come around. These girls will be up when the time is right don't count Estill County out...just a bad night....but they will have another long off period about a week before they play again....good time to get in the cage and hit...
