Earlier in the thread I read where Bozeman would be a home run, and now it's the worst hire ever. In order for McCreary to have gotten a young head coach who has had some success they would have had to promise lots of money, new weight room, new playing facility, new equipment. No coach would leave a place they are winning at to come to a place that has had one winning season since it was erected. If you guys want to be able to offer those things as a community you have to get out and fundraise, help build facilities, find businesses to advertise at your field. That's the only way things are going to get turned around, help build something that would attract a coach to that area. I know I will get responses about how the admin had their chance to bring coaches in and all that, but that is hearsay. If you guys can get actively involved with your boosters and help get your current coach on the right track then it will be a better place for coaches and kids.

I agree with all you have said and we need all those things. We also need a Superintendent that supports Football. He needs to make sure all people working for the School System knows that he wants football to be a success. It is his job to get the Board to upgrade facilities, playing surface and equipment and staff. I know for a fact last time this was open Lucas Ford applied and was told job was his and a change of heart at last minute opened job back up and hired Coach Galloway. I just want this thing to GO!!! Don't care who get's credit let's get it moving forward. Yes a boosters club for Football needs started. Find someone who has the time to do it and I will help.

Word I get Bozeman has been told Gay or Payne would have nothing to do with Coaching. Word on street. Both of them has said they want nothing to do with Coaching.:ChairHit::ChairHit:

Facebook is a great place to gather info, and everything on the internet is true LOL! I hope he is coming back would be great to have him back in the community full time he is a great guy.

I will Give you the Benefit of The Doubt and withhold Any further Comments until Something Becomes official. I Think it is A Done Deal but You are Right Nothing Has been Made official So I will wait and Withhold further Comments.

I think It would be A Good staff if Gay was OC and Payne was DC (I can Overlook His arrogant Post). If They could Get Marc Jones back and Stiltner it Would be a Great Staff. Then I could Get Excited.

The Facebook post came from a woman that works in Central Office in Whitley County, has a Son that plays. I think she told truth. If not I'm sorry taking up for other post.:igiveup:

Gay was never Interesred if he was he Should have Gottin the Job. He is the Only proven Winner at McCreary. If your gonna Recycle a Coach it should Be one That Suceeded Like Gay. Oh Well it Would be the Principal's Loss. Gay's staff went 7-3 and 3 Strait Play Off 's. There Record speaks For itself. Winning 7 Games at McCreary is Like winning a Region anywhere Else. But it is Time to Support Whoever the New coach will Be.
