Williamsburg 70 Clay County 61 (13th Region Final)
A D1 prospect dominates a 13th region game on a bad night.
Not true, Broughton has several offers and I've seen him put up less than 15 numerous times
Great Game. Best team last night won the game. Congrats to the BURG again. I like talking about TEAMS. I think a mod should close this thread also
cctiger Wrote:I've never seen Williamsburg play but congrats on the win. How ever clay isn't a very good basketball team. You have a kid who would play power forward at most schools running the point. They don't play defense and they try to out score people. Offense can only take you so far when you get in to the tourney. They are a very lazy basketball team. Farmer is more of a liability then any thing. He may get you 16 but he's giving up 25.

How can you talk about A kid on this venue where you know he is subject to read it? You don't deserve to have A team to root for. If you have such low respect for A 16 or 17 year old kid, you should at least identify your self that way you would at least be above a scumbag.
I get disgusted with the clay Co fans, CCFAN and other posters get on here and openly post derogatory statements about a kid on their basketball team, and no one seems to care, you guys should condemn that person to no end if that were my son and he had A year left he would play it with your most dreaded opponent. What would you do if it were your son. OR AM I NUTS.
Randy_Watson Wrote:I'm done talking with you homers. These people rating the players have nothing to do with anyone. It's just a straight player ranking. And they do not get them wrong . You can cry argue all day because the Williamsburg kids aren't on there. The Griffth kid should play his way on there this summer. Good luck at Rupp.

Wburg kids didn't have to be on your ranking list that you can't produce, because it doesn't exist. besides if it did exist it wasn't any good our unlisted kids beat your listed kids

I think this got top-notch fire up. And I'm not for sure this is a clay fan top-notch GO away cctiger. :Sad04:
Randy_Watson Wrote:4 out of 5 of Clays starters will play at the next level. And if Sexton continues to develop that will make all 5. He is just a sophomore. Then you have 1 player In Smith who will probably land D1 somewhere so this is where I think people are saying that they are more talented.

Now I do think Williamsburg had 3 that could play at the next level for basketball but none above the NAIA or D3 level.

You do realize that four of your starters aren't big enough to fill out a college jersey and the one that is is just a bit slow on defense. Gotta play both ends of the court to make it in college.

As for the 'burg players... they couldn't care less right now if they get to play at the next level. They're getting ready to play at Rupp next week.
I'm not a clay county fan. I was giving an unbiased view of how I seen them. I said he can score the ball but plays no defense and is a liability. Is this soley on him probably not. Find me one video evidence he plays defense and I'll say I'm wrong. He's on the court to score which in regular season games that's great. But when tourney time rolls around you better play defense bc possessions become a whole lot more valuable. If you want my whole perspective the 13th region is not a very good region at all this year in terms of teams and how they stack up against the rest of the state.

Yes, simple as that. Ask Mr. Watson to reference his list.

Most people in Clay County recognize this site for what it is. 99% of anything said on here falls on deaf ears. We also understand that most things posted on here are BS and it only feeds the Bull S...ter if you respond.

In other words...most of the time it's better to ignore than respond. I have yet to see a response make a positive impact when dealing with fools.
I tried to find you at the tournament! Somebody told me you were feeding the fish on Weiss!!

Wink
I was there for the championship Granny. Going back to Alabama to feed the crappie this weekend hopefully.
We appreciate all; the kindness Clay County has given us and wish all the luck and success to go with you. Clay Basketball is tradition and should be. I saw where your kids were getting WHS colors and informed the kids at WHS of their support. I sometimes get carried away when I see A post where A poster says something negative and prints the Kids name on A public venue. I most sincerely apologize to anyone I may have offended, nothing I said on here was directed at the kids in CC, their school or the fans, 64 messaged me and I realize that the ones printing that stuff were not CCFans anyway. SO LETS GO TO RUPP
Ive not see. Any d1 prostpects come through the 13th in along time and to say wes is naia is crazy theres no spots for a 6'2 post man maybe by next year we might see one but to me i think the perfect fit for smith would be pikeville eventually if he gets stronger house im not sure about hes small, chip was prolly the closest to d1 ready to me based on the kids that went d1 from the 14th recently
