I was told sometime around 2.00 PM Tuesday in London....Confusederiously:

3 and 4 is right for sure. 1 and 2 is shocker to 3 and 4 Confusednicker:

1 and 2 are in a lose, lose situation. Not saying they'll both lose, but they can't like either matchup they get. I don't think 3 and 4 care who they draw.
#6
It would help both Whitley and Wburg if Whitley got the one and Wburg got the two.

Wburg matches up with Souths size much better and Whitley just seems to have Corbins numbers.
Granted Wburg has beaten Corbin about 5 times this year, but some of them were really close.

I thought the coin toss was going to happen today?
#7
Whitley County won coin flip for the #1 seed and will play #4 corbin. And #2 Williamsburg vs #3 South Laurel. :truestory:
#8
What nights are the games played and where is the district held
#9
Guess that pretty well says that one the top 5 teams won't even be in the regional tournament....
#10
This is how it should be. Whitley deserved it.
#11
Student sections were also moved to the upper section. Voted by the district when they did the coin flip.
#12
This is ridiculous, a coin flip? I mean Williamsburg beat Whitley by 21 points. Better overall and region record. Anything who thinks Whitley deserved the 1 after getting beat by 21, has lost their mind.
#13
They are going to vote the kids right out of coming to the games. Bunch of crybabies. The games should be all about the student sections, not trying to put them as far away as they can. That's a shame.
#14
I'm predicting Corbin will pull the upset over Whitley co,,,,,never count Tony P out until proven.
#15
Whoever voted the SS's up top you are a disgrace!
#16
Seen that the reasoning was for 'safety issues'

I thought they voted all student sections upstairs??

No comparison in Whitley's schedule to Williamsburg's. Williamsburg did not play Knox Central (twice). You must be a kid, so I understand why you don't understand competition. Try comparing the teams they both played in the region.
#19
Whitley played the much tougher schedule.. If Williamsburg deserved the one spot, they should have beat Whitley..
#20
I don't think it will matter cause both these teams will not be attending the regional tournament......it will once again be south and Corbin from the 50th district so no use in fussing about the 1 seed lol
#21
Williamsburg got who they wanted south laurel....I think...And on a side note I think the students should set where ever they wanted too. :poker face:

They did, sorry if my comment was confusing. 'Safety reasons'
#23
I'm glad it worked out for Whitley. I feel like South was tougher than Whitley when healthy. Here's to hoping for a Whitley and Wburg final!
#24
What's to keep kids from simply sitting in the lower arena if they're are empty seats? A paying customer is a paying customer.
#25
Head to head is always best comparison. Williamsburg did beat Whitley. But it doesn't matter you have to beat who ever is front of you. Corbin and South are both good opponents. This district is as even as any in state. Whitley is also deserving. Whitley and Williamsburg split two good games. Corbin and South could easily be in district finals.
#26
The student section thing is ridiculous. I think it's pretty obvious who this rule was put in place to hurt. What if they was playing in a gym like Barbourville that is one level? Make a rule that South students can't cheer too loud? Not sure who it looks worse on. The crybaby coaches of the other 3 teams, or the South AD or administration not telling the committee to go screw themselves. Someone please feel free to explain how it's a safety situation now, but hasn't been all season.
#27
You mean a high school game isn't about high school kids? It takes adults to screw things up. Who voted to put the kids up top? I bet that question will never be answered.

All 4 coaches

LoL. I can guarantee you that is wrong. I'm going with a 3-1 vote.
