I got on here to check up on the 1a state championship game thread to find it closed. I then noticed several others marked that way. What gives?

All are still open with exception of the 1A thread. Started getting a little chippy between a Mayfield fan and some Williamsburg fans.

I didn't think so, but I didn't really care either. From what I read a Mayfield fan was crying around about wanting to be banned, that's about all I got out of it. Something about Williamsburg transfers and that was about it.

Yeah, I'm really not getting him. He seems bitter about something. It was a good game. He and everyone else needs to leave the negative stuff unsaid. That just distracts from how great the game was. I think if you complain about things such as recruiting it is a distraction. Also for those who want to say the losing team was better you are just suggesting that those kids didn't play their hearts out or they should have one. I guarantee you that the boys from both sides fought to the bitter end and one team lost. There shouldn't even have to be a loss in this one. We have been on both sides of that fence. We have won four or five by one point at state. We have lost some by one point at state. It really should be that way. Give both teams credit and please don't discredit this game.

It seems like it was just one person that has problems expressing their true feelings. Most of us are old school at this williamsburg vs Mayfield thing and couldn't possibly say anything that hasn't already been said. I did read what someone said that went overboard and it was uncalled for. To be honest I'm gonna miss all of this next year.

Williamsburg allmost proved me right that the west was weak...Oh well nicker: great game from the two best team in 1A in 2014.
