Mayfield vs. Williamsburg Class 1A State Championsip
64SUR Wrote:Dam I forgot jetpilot has a radar....You guys embarrassed everyone on BGR except us Williamsburg fans..we was the only one telling the truth about our team...But I be dam if I would get on bgr and pick a western kentucky team against an eastern Kentucky team. :lmao:

It's nothing against W'burg, Mayfield is just playing on a much higher level. I hope they play the worst game they have ever played and the Burg wins. There might be hope after all. Beechwood held Mayfield under 100 rushing yards and Mayfield got most of their passing yards on 2 or 3 plays. The bad news is this Beechwood team would easily win Class A 9 out of 10 years if Mayfield was 2A. I really wouldn't be posting on this thread but you keep calling me out...:cop:
That is something I have grown accustomed to jet. He has been calling me out for 3 years. Just keep letting him have it right back.
Well maybe it's growing in popularity... I was always the only one talking about it. Is anyone from Mayfield going up the night before to watch Graves?
I am. I know of at least 4 from my usual group that are as well. We will support the buzzards in their game just like we were playing. Especially since we know a lot of the kids personally. Maybe they can get 1 more win before dropping into the cellar next year.
Alright il be cheering for both teams since I know players on both... But will not be wearing blue maybe some neutral colors
Yeah, I will be wearing red and black. I want them to know that we support them when they are not playing us.

Lol ur not going to stop anybody from talkin... after runnin ur mouth all year...lol
Well, you know I like to poke but, I wasn't expecting everyone to jump on board.
So right for u and not us.....??? Ha we have always been on board.. and this is the truth... all of it.. it says all the facts for themost part except for a few ppl, sir64 to name a fewConfusednicker: they are aware not to go by the media....I mean ur not going to stop social media from talking.. you just have to teach them not to listen.. part of championship football always has been , ppl are going to talk and that is perfectly alright... wburg has on hope ..... that is a mistake apon mistake in the rain....:devilflam
I hope we have as much fun as last year but, with a much better drive back and a parade this time. Last year was the first year that I know of that our champions didn't get a parade, due to weather.

Only reason they didn't jump on board they wasn't for sure Mayfield would beat Beechwood and now they want a piece of the pie. This Williamsburg team want go down easy...I promise :truestory:
CS17 Wrote:gobigredMHS...I don't think the players even take the time to get on here... I know I was the only one reading them these past few years. When I would talk about what y'all were saying, no one even knew about the site. I always got a good laugh at you guys and figured I would join the party now that I'm not playing anymore.

I wonder who this is hmmmm.:biglmao:
55 let us knoe about the parade.. get the word out !!! And ppl will follow... including me..
The customary thing is, if we when there will be a string of cars waiting at county line on the parkway. When the bus passes they fall in line and go all through town. If they lose, just a somber ride home.
Would love to see the Burg win, but Mayfield adds # (someone who knows let me know what number this will be, too lazy to look!)

Prove me wrong Orange Jackets
If we win its #11.
Williamsburg By 7 in a SHOOT OUT!!!! :flame:
You need to research before posting. And don't drink and post. Only 1 team has scored more than 24 on Mayfield all year. That was a top ten team in 6a early in the season.
OldJacket Wrote:Ram a lot of Raceland fans thought they would beat Wburg, were they brain damaged to think the Rams had a shot...It's ok to think your team might win a game, doesn't mean your brain damage, just means your a fan...Lighten up Frances...

I was trying to come up with a team that we played that reminds me of wburg. Best I could do is marshell county as far as team skill level.. they bring more things to the table of corse, they dont have the size of marshell either.. never expected this mayfield team to be at state..

I've never heard of marshell.which state are they from?

win?

Who needs to research? does researching stats win games?Confusedtare:
No, but it sure does help one to know what they are posting before they just blindly post something. For instance if a team has played at least 7 teams that are rated as high or higher than the team they are about to play and they have only once given up more than 24 then chances are it can't be a shoutout. Especially if you are saying the team only giving up 24 or less is the one you are picking to lose by 7. Another words if Mayfield does give up the full 24 and they lose by 7. That means they could only score 17. Therefore a score of 24-17. Does that look like a shootout.

Translation: So it's OK for 55 to poke fun, but the rest of us can't jump on the bandwagon? HA! We have always been here. Most people don't listen to all this junk, except for a few like 64. Part of championship football is that people are going to talk, you just have to teach the kids not to listen to it. Williamsburg has one hope of winning, that Mayfield makes mistake after mistake in the rain.
I think we have withstood the toughest 2 tests we will get in 1a in the last 2 weeks. I just don't want our boys to think that. I want them hungry like they were at bw. If they are, I really like our position.
killbilly usmc Wrote:I wonder who this is hmmmm.:biglmao:
well I didn't intend to keep it a secret... If you can determine my identity from my username and the threads I post on then I hope yyou will come talk to me at the games! I only know a few guys on here.
I will be watching Graves, don't have any Graves gear, so I will just be wearing neutral colors.
