I really don't understand the big fus over Mayfield, Mayfield is going to take the long bus ride to Beechwood get their Hind Ends kicked very well, then take the long bus ride back.

Beechwood? Their best win is against an 8-5 Cov. Cath. team. The east is even weaker than I originally thought.

Strength of schedule- Williamsburg
Opponents records- 58 wins and 88 losses= 30 point negative.
Hazard 10-3 and Campbellsville 7-5 played in the playoffs and not in season.
Adding up the 1A 2A and so on by points gives you 25 points.
Strength of schedule- Raceland
Opponents records- 72 wins and 77 losses= 5 point negative.
Paintsville 10-3 and Fairview 7-5 played TWICE in the same season, once for district play and then in playoffs. Paintsville knocking off Pikeville at Pikeville.
Adding the points total for classification is 30 points for Raceland.
Yes Raceland has 2 losses, 6 points to a 4A school and 13 points to a very good Ohio team. With that being said, Racelands schedule appears to be stronger than that of Williamsburg, just looking at the numbers.
schedules and stats dont win games:truestory:

If you have only had 1 game all year that wasnt running clock you could be in a game that you have had the upper hand for 3 quarters, and run out of gas. The burg might have a team that can be ahead of any team in the class at halftime if they are as good as people say, but when its close late can they have the wind left. At that point it wont be a lack of talent. A close game is a marathon not a sprint. Usain bolt is great at 100, but is he great at a mile.
nobody really knows what Williamsburg has because they haven't had to show it.

If stats don't matter, why all the bragging about running clocks? "We got running clocks in 12 of 13 games". Is that not a stat? Don't you have to get ahead by 36 points to start a running clock?

Graves Co. and Murray are still playing. Russellville, Caldwell Co., and PT got eliminated Friday. Where were Wayne and North Laurel? :biglmao:
If you want to run with the big dogs, you have to get off the porch.
Tilghman looks like an elementary school cupcake.they get pumped up to be world beaters every year by the Mayfield creampuffs.

Tanner Morgan is good...I don't know about the passing yard. But he had a big night...Tanner Morgan, Kelvin Whitaker and new comer Camron Sizemore should be the top Qb in the east next year. :Cheerlead
