Yes it did. But then it was taken away from them. Now, lets not get this thread all hijacked into the same bs from the past. But....

If a team has broken rules, they must be held accountable. But taking everything away from them only strips them of the accomplishment on paper and in the books. They certainly did make it to the semis and beyond, but they still did what they did, and were sanctioned, and beating the dead horse does nothing and starts another bunch of bs. So lets call a spade a spade. They made it, it was stripped, back to Raceland/Fairview .

Gotta go with the Tigers in a not so close game. 28/14

The RAMS are averaging 41.2 PPG. That's not gonna change Friday night. They may not score 41, but no way they're gonna be held to 14 points at home. I do expect a closer game though.

I aint sure wether to think raceland will stomp them, or to think that paintsville is going to do it again. Im clueless, but ill say raceland takes this one.

After the turnaround against Pikeville, if we stomp them, it will be a statement to how we grew after Fairview came out and slung the ball all over the freakin field against us and gave us all we wanted and then some defensively in the first half last week. I think that was a big wake up call for our team.

I like the way you think. I just hope Raceland can pull it out.

Sorry, coo coo, but WV schools can't win titles in KY. Confusednicker:
Anyone know what Pikeville's average ppg was during the regular season?
I think it was in the low 40s about the same as Raceland's. Thats the one thing thats concerns me about Friday. Their defense has played lights out since our first match up. They've given up 14 points since then.
BigMelon63 Wrote:Anyone know what Pikeville's average ppg was during the regular season?

I asked Ram-A-Devil and he said eleventy billion.6 ppg.
BigMelon63 Wrote:Anyone know what Pikeville's average ppg was during the regular season?

Pikeville was averaging 41.3 PPG including the loss to Paintsville. Paintsville is averaging 30.0 PPG. & they are giving up 15.7 PPG.

Raceland is averaging 41.2 PPG, while giving up 12.7 PPG.
Rams by eleventy Kabillion!
^^^careful now. ur starting to sound like Jetpilot....we all know how that ended up!
So is Paintsville finally completely healthy, outside of Phelps? I know Kash has battled cramps since the weather turned (understandable), but didnt know if there was more to it than that. Belcher has been less than 100% all season if I am not mistaken. I know there were a few lineman knocked out of the regular season before the first game was played, are they back? Maybe TB can give his insight? From what I understand, Raceland is at 100% unless something came up in practice.

I checked to make sure Scotty Bronson and to my knowledge everyone is healthy. Should be a good game but another difficult task on the road in Ram land. Best to both !

***Raceland/PAINTSVILLE
Good luck to both teams hope you guys have Injury free contest.
Paintsville already won their state title last week. Let downs happen too often after big emotional wins, and I think that'll happen Friday night. Raceland's secondary has a big game and leads to a three score advantage.

Raceland - 35
Paintsville - 14

Going to be a good game. The Tigers need too have something happen early.. Can't let the Rams keep the football on long drives. Hard to pick a winner in this one.. Good luck too both teams..

Considering they are Tigers
a team in orange will win Smile
Paintsville beat Pikeville big that just didn't happen, that same team will take care of the Rams Friday night.
Paintsville 24
Raceland 12:beerwez:
If Paintsville goes up early or is close at halftime , look out 23 South !
