2. Corbin is missing a part of their game needed to beat the jackets.

Central is not invincible as Wayne showed last year and in 2009, Tilghman, proved. But they are battle tested and stay very focused on the task at hand. They have a seasoned coach who has been in this situation several times. This is not Central's strongest team by any shot, but like a stubborn fungus, they have stuck around and are showing signs of life.

If Corbin can control the line of scrimmage they will control the game. If not it could be a long night. I agree central has some good athletes but can they handle the power and muscle Corbin will throw at them?

They won't understand what is necessary to beat Central. Trying to gadget and trick Central won't work. They don't have the self discipline to beat them. That's what's missing.

Yes but this is a different animal. There are some things you just can't do against Central.

Central does have more athletes than Corbin and plays twice the schedule that Corbin plays. Unfortunately, against those top ranked teams they haven't been too competitive. Another thing that help Corbin is Central's run defense. Their not great at stopping the run. They even let a team like western put up close to 300 yards rushing against them and their in the 5-7 range of win/loss records. This will be close just based off the number of athletes Central has, but I think Corbin can slow down the tempo enough to pull it out.

Corbin has a big, mean, and strong line and a tough as nails Defense. I agree that Corbin won't be able to gimmick a team with the athletes of Central like they do a lot of other teams but if they get physical and play hardnosed mountain football, The Hounds can loosen em up and hit a few over the top.

Corbin is big across both lines. They can punish you up front and if you load the box they can throw it all over the field. Corbin is also very deep and wears you out throwing fresh bodies at you.
