:Thumbs:Congratulations to Estill County on a good season.

Congrats to Russell.

Pretty good win for the devils. Defense played much better in the second half.
#6
Russell gave up a lot of underneath yards to protect against the big play. Just wore Estill down. Jones is a special player but Russell made most of the big plays.
#7
About all they gave up all night was some long gainers by Jones scrambling. Did a good job keeping them out of the end zone.

Maynard should be coach of the year in the area. Win over Ashland, district title, and now playing for a regional title next week at home in a game they could be favored in. Would love to see the Belfry-Russell rivalry renewed.

Trevor Jones is a special player and probably one sore puppy this morning. He really took a beating but he carried his team on his back. Great player.

Good defensive effort by both teams. Russell gave up some yards to prevent the big play but when the field compressed they were outstanding.

In all my years watching and even when I played for the Devils the one thing that has always been a consistent is that Russell is tough to beat at home in November. The Devils showed out on defense tonight shutting Estill down on offense. Russell attempted to come out and pass early which kinda ain't there thing and really kept Estill in the game longer than they should have been. Once Russell decided to run the ball and establish there physical dominance up front the decision became less n less in doubt. Like I said I didn't think Estill could effectively pick Russell apart through the air. Big win for TJ, Russell, and Flatwoods. Big game next a shot to return to the semi finals!!!

Congrats to u guys. Glad to see things on the up and up. Cant wait for the renewal of the Rail Coties Bowl. Both teams benefit in many ways from that game. I hope they continue the food drive competition as well as that was always a GREAT opportunity to help out those in need. Hope to see Raceland and Russell both in Bowling Green!!

I agree. Even if Russell loses eleventy billion to zero it's still good for this area. Keeps the money here in our area. Food drive fills cubbards and it's great for this area.
