The Burg should have no problems with St. Louis. They already beat Newport and Wayne Co. don't you know.

Wait, did I forget the twinkies?
I think their coach knows what they can do

All this talk about running clocks had me wondering just why that is getting the burg faithful thinking this means something. So, I did some research. Now, I'm still puzzled, because this is what I found.
Knoxville Halls is 3-5
South Laurel is 1-7
Pike Co Cent is 4-4
Wayne Co is 3-6
Newport is 4-4 (and they only lost to the burg by 9 points)
Harrison Co is 0-9
Campbellsville is 4-4
Berea is 4-4
Now if Mayfield, Beechwood, Frankfort, Russellville, Holy Cross, Pikeville or Raceland had that schedule, they would have a running clock every game. That does not spell "Big Time" to anyone. So, the running clock and setting on the sideline thing just doesn't fly.

Guys from these other schools, join in and help me make this clear to them. I know Mayfield, so this is what they have done:
Frankfort is 2-7, running clock
McCracken Co is 7-1, lost by 1 point
Paducah Tilghman is 3-5, beat them by 4 touchdowns
Murray is 5-3, beat them by 11 points on a bad day marred by tragedy here
Graves Co is 5-3, shut them out and beat them by 3 touchdowns
Marshall Co is 2-6, running clock
Fulton is 0-7, running clock
Fulton Co is 1-6, running clock
Now, the difference is that we have 4 games in which our boys played a full game against a quality opponent. They got work in at a fast pace and saw many different sets and strategies. That is how you grow a team and prepare them.

You haven't seen PT's band. That is an awesome band. Murray State could learn from them.

Mayfield 9, since you married in, I could use some cash.

We are sure hoping to in December. I am hoping they don't send another one to BG. I would like to see a Hazard or Pikeville type team. Someone that has been there and knows how to not lay down.
