Where will the cordia players go?
#61
Well we should know something tommorrow one way or another. I have been hearing some rumblings out of the knott co camp. I have been hearing that a couple of the cordia boys that turncoat to knott co may have a reverse decision on their eligibility tommorrow. I don't want to mention any names but the initials are A.C. And J.C. And that is not alternating current and Jesus Christ. I have been hearing if cordia wins then their transfers may have to come back to cordia or sit out but I don't think cordia really wants either one back. Just what I have been hearing.

Bah, ha, ha, ha, wait a minute, wait a minute. Okay go ahead and tell another one. I know who you two really are Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, or are you Abbot and Costello? Lol. Either way you two have been hilarious. Keep up the good work ( top notch and inside info ). Lol

Touch a nerve did we? Sometimes the truth hurts.

Well lets just hope they don't have to go back. If they don't want to play at cordia and cordia don't want them there anyway then maybe it'll w out great for all that's involved.
#65
No didn't touch a nerve here it's just funny reading you two rattle on.
#66
I understand how it is, no basketball yet so we've got to kick around the proverbial can until there there is something real to talk about.

I would much rather read their posts, then anything you have to say hauler.

Well I'm happy for you easy wind.

KHSAA can hand out the death penalty, but they can never kill the heart of a Lion. Keep on fighting the good fight guys

That small school feel, to me, isn't the same when you bring players in from all over the country just to play basketball. Cordia was a little like Hickory High School when they were playing with guys from Knott and Perry counties.

I heard today that Richard Chapman would be enrolling at Perry Central this week. You talk about a big impact that would make at PCC. Chapman is a beast.

And to add to that, they have gotten another Tobler look alike from New York yesterday and a 6'7" Foreign exchange student today! Man they are going all out to beat the patriots this year, hope it turns out better than in years past.

This is why I never listen to a word you say..

Pcc will end up just like cordia if they don't slow down recruiting.
#75
PCC wouldn't end up like Cordia even if every UK target in the '15 class showed up on Combs Road tomorrow. Haves and have-nots

C'mon Jacobcody, where's the love???? It's not like Knott county isn't a mixed bag either.

I've heard that same spill before.

Khsaa need to make all transfers ineligible for the first year when they transfer. Or make it open season on recruiting.

That's been my opinion the whole time!
But whatever team you start the year on you stick with them.
#80
I agree with you zaga_fan.
#81
Been saying it for over 20 years.
#82
It would cause the KHSAA a lot less headaches if they just say you can transfer and play the same season with no questions asked as long as you are enrolled and going to class the day practice starts - from that point forward if you transfer you are ineligible until the next season.

No exceptions, no bylaws written to make it okay for certain situations... everyone plays.

Maybe put a limit on transfers so that they can only do it once or twice to keep kids from playing on a different team every year.
#83
Agree
#84
With the talk of recruits, I swear Cunningham was the best PG last year without a doubt.
When I watched the Lions, I felt like the rest of the team didnt know what the hell they where doing.
#85
Careful now ballers. I will turn ballstar loose on you this year. Hehe. Id love to see Chapman at PCC.
#86
Chapman going to pcc ain't going to happen just wishful think on perry co part. I have heard Richard chapman say if cordia don't play he won't play. He is extremely loyal to cordia. He is not going anywhere I promise. And before anyone else asks or gets it started all the other kids are perfectly content where they are also.

I don't think anybody in EKY is worried about the KHSAA and recruiting.
Theres not a judge in EKY that would keep a kid from transferring it seems.
The KHSAA is powerless when it comes to this. There nothing more than a figurehead and force teams to play by the rules, but as soon as a judge throws down the gavel, they shut up.

There's plenty of judges in EKY that would stop the transfers lol
The Franklin County Circuit Judge is the only one that matters in Cordia's case though.

Nov. 12th will be the final ruling.
I figured someone would have posted this by now.
I'm interested to see how the judge rules... but ultimately I want to see the Lions on the court this year.

Buford,
The kid better forget about the loyalty and go play ball somewhere. Time is running out for some of these boys. I'd honestly like to see him him playing somewhere. No matter where it would be. None of them kids up there should be sitting out the season.
