Ashland looked flat night and maybe no offense to Greenup were looking ahead to this game. I ll give them a shot of winning is they play good.

I've not got to see Greenup's D but I hear they are pretty good. I think Ashland has a good shot and just a good a shot as anyone.

Since 2011.... when JC, Ashland, Rowan County, Greenup County and Boyd County were aligned in Class 4A, district 8.....
JC has only lost once in district play.... 6-22 @ Ashland in 2011.
That's a district record for JC of 14-1 since 2011.

Next year with East should be more of the same.

East Carter? The weakest overall 4-A district in the state will, if possible, get weaker. Do the other three pansies stay in the district?

I hope to be in the area this week, hopefully I can take in the game. I remember back in 2006 or 2007, I had the opportunity to watch a very exciting game between Ashland and Johnson Central, which Central won on a last second touchdown. I remember the music and one liners, played over the PA system made for a great atmosphere. Do they still fire up that huge grill down on the track?

I like your thinking.....
After getting beat by LSU, the Cats beat #1 ranked Miss. St. Bulldogs.
Cause I know you don't mean the Tomcats.

I think the Tomcats have the big play potential to make this a game, but so many times I have seen Ashland play this year and the LOS just cannot keep the backs from getting hit before they can get past the line, sometimes getting contact on them in the backfield. Hard to make a big play if you are getting hit so soon, no matter how fast you might be. JC has some athletes too and they don't just think they can win, they believe that they will win. Love my Tomcats but Johnson Central is all around too much to handle, hope that I am wrong.

Those Eagles gonna be tough to beat and the game being on Johnson Central's home turf gonna be doubly hard, at least I think it is there and not at Putnam. Unless Baker has a record setting night I cannot see Blazer winning this one.
