I believe I know who it is now just from the last few posts I'm just about 99% sure I'm right. And to say something like that about a community that in essence plays a part in you getting a paycheck is chicken sh*t and cowardly, but on the other hand im not going to join the mob mentality of today's times. Someone correct me if I'm wrong or off base here. During a commercial on Sport Overtime the guys were talking when they thought the mics were not hot anymore. They were referring to Johnson Central winning some games but still not going to be able to defeat highlands in the playoffs. Kind of a back handed comment, mocking them. I did not hear this personally this is just me reading between the lines on here.

I'm sure one of those crazy Blue Bird fans has any stat about Highlands you want to know.....

For the record, JC is 3-3 against Covington Catholic.

But the issue is what the television station that covers JC said.... wether or not they thought their mics were off, aren't they supposed to be impartial reporters........

Let's be honest.... mountain football has fell off, big time. There are some terrible teams in the WYMT coverage area. And it's no secret who those teams are. JC has one of the toughest regions in the entire state. Having to play Cov. Cath. or Highlands is a tough night for any team.

If anybody has a link to this..... I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT!!!!!

They comment apparently was said as the Fans in the Stands logo was coming onto the screen. If you watch the online video of the segment you can hear a slight click at the beginning and the Fans in the Stands logo is already fully displayed. If you have ever done any video editing or cropping you can tell this is likely a cut in that was done shortly after the comment was made.

Who cares what anyone says. As for JC they are a state contender year in and out and has played HHS and CC more competitive than most of their advisories . Hopefully they will over the hump. I said hump not a mountain. Also I do like what HHS has been been able to accomplish thru the years. But JC will have their day it's coming . Answer this question how many mountain teams could stop HHS from running thru them like an enama

But, guys IMO....I think this is just a little bit of an over reaction. I heard it. BUT, They didn't purposelly say it on the air. They were having a coversation (which ALL us sports fans do), that they thought was not being broadcast. If anyone is to blame it's a Tech Person. So they weren't trying to poke fun at any kids or school. Heck if you look at the quote above. They didn't even mention what school they were talking about.

And to be perfectly honest...The first part of that statement is true for prolly EVERY school in the state. The Cov Cath part though...JC takes them down this year!

I think it's funny that Johnsonville Central never got their name mentioned but they are butt hurt enough over not being able to beat Cov Cath or Highlands that they're up in arms over this. I bet countless people in the mountains talk about the fact that Johnsonville Central can't beat Cov Cath or Highlands every week.

Give me a break. You just set there and proved whoever said that's point. It doesn't matter what happens, in the end you lose to Highlands. Its been the final game for a lot of teams and I don't understand why someone would get so mad for the truth. Until JC actually beats them whoever said that wasn't wrong.
