Covington Catholic/Ryle Predictions
#1
Who do you think wins and why?
#2
Rlyle by 14. Wheels coming off at Cov Cath
#3
Looking at the Dixie/Cov Cath, Dixie/BW and BW/Cov Cath results, you would have to say HS football in NKy is unpredictable this year. Cov Cath does appear to have a "between the ears" issue. They have way too much talent to lose to BW, but talent alone does not get it done on the field.

Ryle is back from the abyss and ready to hit people in the mouth. This Cov Cath team seems to be soft. Ryle by 7.
#4
The Boogie Man, Highlands, stole Cov Cath's soul.
#5
Covington Catholic 28
Ryle 14
#6
Ryle 28 Cov Cath 21

Any word on 2 injured QBs, at CCath? Curious with Ryle being a meaningless non-district game the direction they go?

CovCath doesn't run the ball much either should be interesting how this works out for them.

It does appear there is a lot of friction between players and coaches. Heard Erpenbeck (very fast WR and kick returner) was suspended for insubordination. He did not play last week and heard his is suspended next game also. If players have lost all faith in the coach, it is hard to get them to put forth much effort come game time. If this is the case, I think Ryle has good chance to pull off the win against a team in turmoil.

RB's for Cov Cath did not show me much in the game I saw and is probably the reason the QB is the leading rusher. I would say they are in big trouble if QBs are out.

Just an observation, a partisan one I will admit. But when we had both of our junior Rb's dinged up, our starting QB playing on a sprained mcl no one gave us any slack during our brutal opening first half schedule. Coth Cath has a few injuries and the only reason we can win is because they are hurt or in turmoil. So it's a pre excuse for them in case we win, or to give us no credit if we do? Is it so, or am I just reading it wrong? I think if we win, we win. If we lose, we lose. No excuses. You play with who you got and live with the consequences just like we did. This information is not from the posters here, just what I've been hearing.

I am going to pick the te4am with the best athletes. The problems can be worked out. Catholic 28 Ryle 14

I look at this like the Bengals / Pats game last night. I think this is a dangerous game for Ryle. They need to keep it close to continue the momentum.

I do think Ryle wins 28-21...

If Ryle continues to play as they have, they win this game. Each week has shown improvement.

Guess you should have picked Ryle then. From what I seen there were a lot of athletes on the field. Just not all on one team, and not all had on Blue!
