Congratulations Rams

I expected Raceland would win, but I thought Lawrence would put up a fight.

congrats, Dawggs

LC outplayed and out coached. Congrats Raceland you were the better team tonight.

Congratulations Raceland!! I thought the Dawgs would pull this one out.

Let me say 1st to Scotty B. you were exactly right. LC is going backwards. Let me say 2nd Raceland has a very good team that capitalizes on opponents mistakes. I expected to watch a close game but the LC coaching staff could get out their own way. I do not understand how in the 6th game of the season you have 11 false starts. I do not understand a player who was ejected in a previous game keeps jawboning until he gets ejected this game. I do not understand a coaching staff that must be up to 20-22 coaches by now do not even attempt a hurry up offense. I do not understand why better defensive players were not used when there was still a chance but when the game is decided you put your QB in. Lc back to playing out of desperation. And the thing I am the most upset about, whoever was playing the pregame music with all the F'ing this and GD that needs to go. There is absolutely no need for that at a high school football game. LC needs to use the rest of this year to practice for next year. Congrats to Raceland and the best of luck the rest of the season.

Big night defensively for the Rams . Like i said, last weeks game would pay dividends and I feel that the Ironton game will due even more than the CG game did. Raceland was extrely physical tonight.

Dont like being right in that regaurd. Dalton needs a reality check. Messer made a definitive statement that he is the most consistent, well rounded, and possibly the best athelete in the area. More importantly, you dot see Connor antagonizing play after play.

Dalton is extremely tallented, but he has got to get his head on straight.

To much patting on the back with a good job when they make a mistake. And not being corrected when they do make a mistake. We got outplayed but it all falls back on Coaching. It is Ok to be a Good and even a Great Guy but we are lacking in Coaching terribly. Anyone that disagrees with me go back and watch games the last few seasons. I've wanted to say something about it before but because I do think so highly of the Coaching Staff as Men I've not. Just go back and watch the film if you don't believe me or if you were there tonight you seen it for yourself! Even had been told its not the Coaches fault. Who's fault is it then? I know there are more lessons in life than Football it is just painful to see LC with so much talent and it being wasted.

I thought the Rams defense would come up big and they did. Looking great and looking forward to that game with Fairview soon.

They need to hold Dalton out of basketball for the season also. Maybe it would sink in his skull that way. That's why we have schools is to teach, hold him out and I bet he would learn.

Twice Raceland picked off passes right in front of Dalton. Did he try to stop the interception? Nope. Did he try to tackle the guy? Nope. Did he, one of the fastest on the field, try to chase them down? Nope. Both times he just stood jawboning. It would not surprise me if he quit again just like he did last year.

Bulldogs finally played somebody.

I agree the coaching is horrible. I've said this for weeks now lc is getting worse every game. Cecil is a good guy but he has never had a defense since he's been at lc. Arm tackling fumbles bad line play. Just hard to watch. I'm frustrated but congrats to raceland. Maybe this will wake the team up but I doubt it. One more thing when your getting your a$$ kicked why talk trash?

We lost one of our own players jaw boning as well. Win but win with a little class!

It is time for some leadership on the field last year aj. Was the clear leader everone listen to him. Dont have that this year. I think dalton is done for the year now 2nd time thrown out in 3 games. And I didn't see any coach turn the ball over 4 fumbles and three interceptions and the coach didn't make a one of them. On a good note the dawgs ran the ball well, they just couldn't hang on to it. Raceland deserves all the credit they were more physical, only had one turnover at the end of 1st half. Give all the credit to raceland they just took to us to the woodshed in all aspects of the game.
09-27-2014, 05:53 AM
I was way off on this one.
09-27-2014, 05:54 AM
Wow! I thought the dawgs were for real this year.

Congrats to Raceland on the win. I guess Lawrence and Fairview have a ways to go.

You are right the Coaches didn't and I was waiting for a response like that. What are they or what will they do to correct those mistakes????? Take tackling for example every game this year LC hits hard but no wrapping up. They have had all year to fix this and haven't yet. I don't put much into the fumbling and Interceptions being fixed either. Raceland does deserve credit like I said Out Played and Out Coached.

Scotty_Bronson Wrote:^^^such a shame.Don't get me wrong, Dalton is a very talented athlete. But he is happy with being talented and not striving to be an exceptional athlete. You just do not quit on a play until the whistle blows. By no means was this loss Daltons fault or any other players fault. Raceland had a very good game plan to keep him contained. Him getting ejected was on him. He became frustrated and could or would not control his emotions. You win or lose as a team and he let his team down. He has to learn, no matter what sport, it is not always going to go his way. I really hope he can overcome this negative, because if he can, he has the ability to go far. These refs were not going to let this game get out of control like the Breathitt game. They called it close and I thought fairly. There is plenty to work on now and if I was coach we would be at practice on Saturday. I said before this game if LC did not control turnovers and penalties it would be a long night. I believe Raceland scored on all 7 LC turnovers which says a lot about both teams. LC got a beat down on homecoming and they helped their own beat down tremendously. Now is the time you pull together on a common goal or you slowly disintegrate. Sometimes a loss can be a wake up call. This one was very loud and clear.

Good win for the RAMS. No way they were gonna be held to 14 points.
