Estill County finished 2014 26-15 winners of the 56th district and 14th region tournaments. Estill County is losing two of their starters in Michaela Gross (pitcher) and Cheyenne Rawlins (INF) but return everyone else and will have an outstanding middle school class coming in that went 24-4 this season losing in the conference semi-finals to Foley and won 3 regular season tournaments.

Estill County doesn't rebuild, they reload when it comes to softball.

As far as the schedule goes, I'm assuming the following teams will be on it; Lexington Catholic, Paul Dunbar, Madison Central, Madison Southern, Montgomery County, South Laurel, Garrard County, Model, East Jessamine.

Powell County, Lee County, Owsley County will be on it. Woodford County, Mercer county, Rowan County, Harrison County, Western Hills, East Ridge, Berea were on it last season, not sure if they'll be on it this coming season or not. Estill County had picked up Bourbon County at the end of April last season but was canceled due to the weather so I'm not sure if Bourbon County will be on Estill's schedule or not.

A solid program but Estill, along with North Laurel and South Laurel, should send the KHSAA a big gift basket each year for moving them into their respective regions.

Estill is also going to Bourbon County on March 31st
