That comment is laughable given the fact NCC lost to a 5A school and Ashland barely beat a 1A school.....these games mean nothing, it's where you're at in late November and Early December that counts!!

If they mean nothing why play the season just skip to the post season.

Amusing. Fans of certain schools are known for blowing smoke in August but hiding in mid November. NCC will be there. Your team will be preparing for basketball season. So, go hunt your hiding place, T-CATS.

Cooper is a very good team. Coach Borchers is a NewCath grad that prepares his team very well each week. NCC learned a lot this game, especially what they need to improve on. Coach Faust will get things changed on the oline with some personnel changes, so things should be fine. It would of been nice to play Ashland so those changes could have started then.....but. I think the biggest change will be Henchen (sp) at qb, but I still think Anderson has something to offer, maybe as a receiver. T-Cat can keep trolling and posting his nonsense, that's ok but be careful because you might not to throw stones from that glass house you live in.

Just having some fun. Would have loved to play NCC and got the adjustments out of the way for last nights game.

Tcats may have a point. I'm going to be brutally honest here. Cooper is a bad football team. Ncc is really bad right now. Players are in positions they should not be. Kind of reflects back to the comments I made before. Selfishness.... In football you don't win for two reasons, bad coaching or bad players. The Offensive coordinator should have never been giving the job and you mix in some not really good football players being starters, you get beat 31-0 by a not very good football team. Two of the offensive lineman, I believe it was both guards should not be on the field. 32 and 10 looked lost at defensive end. Losing 23 hurt ncc, he looks like he might be their best football player. On the bright side, the QB that came in late looks very promising. As a former player up on the hill, I was embarrassed. We may end up 2-7, beating only brossart and holy cross.
#12
I totally disagree that they are a bad football team. They are 2-0 and beat two teams that will finish close to .500. They have a stout defense and a special player in Armstrong.

Though It's only week 2 week I'm impressed but week 4 we will have a better idea on every team.

Because if we didn't play them, some teams wouldn't get to play at all!!! How far did Ashland make it last year?
#14
2nd round and with only 10 games in the regular season, they all mean something to the coaches the players and the fans.
#15
NCC and Ashland should have played, win or lose adjustments could have been made to help both teams over the course of season. That was my point form the other thread. The benefits outweigh the demands for the logistics, that is why the teams play the game. NCC could have avoided the mistakes contributed to a young team, therefore they would have done better against Cooper if they would have played Ashland. Ashland would have benefited as well.

Mr.B when did you play / coach on the hill? Last year? There are some obvious changes that need to occur with this team, it can no longer be about my dad played in The NFL, was a new cath grad, dad is on the board, dad is a coach, etc. They need to play the best 11! The OC should not be the OC, PERIOD! That is the only thing I can agree with you about. Defensively, why play a 4-3 and have a soft front against a team that does not throw it all over the place? Change up to one safety, a player that can close, jump, and make a play on the ball. Regarding the DE position, #7 , didn't do any better better than 10 or 32, #7 was a starter last year with #45, neither one of those players impressed me last season. Coaches need to be up front with these kids and let them know what their role will be and base that solely on what is best for the TEAM, regardless if the player is a senior or the players family member is a newcath, coach, etc. these kids want to win and expect to win! The great thing about all of this, they have only played one game with a coach that shouldn't be coachng and kids that should not be playing according to you!

surprised by the score in this one.

I totally agree with you about wanting to play the game. Fact of the matter is, financially, logistically, and include administrative conflicts, it just wasn't going to happen. People think because NCC is a parochial school they have endless resources, it's quite the opposite. Besides tuition, (of our own choice) we get nickled and dimed every week for something. The families paid for the kids to make the trip to Ashland. The cost of a second trip, overnight stay, meals, etc just wasn't going to happen, end of story. I would assume most of the replayed games played had no where near the logistics involved as this game. I understand schedules have been finalized for next season already. It would have been nice for this rivalry to be extended for one more year. As I've stated in other posts, I would like to see Baker play because I think he is an exceptional back. Now I'll get to do is read about him in the paper .

Kidz, why are taking a shot at my son? Ive been trying to stay off this site and then i get a txt from a friend letting me know that ur running ur mouth. Not impressed by 45? In my 4 years coaching and his 3 years as a starter/player, we never, never ever, got beat 31-0 by a team like cooper. Cooper is not a good football team. U need to watch some film. Ur a hater and a jealous MFer. I pray that ur not who i think u r. U peeved cause ur son is a no talent cry baby? Watch ur mouth. Theres a reason 45 is at UC and urs will be washing cars next year. I realize someone has let u know who this is, but from now on, u got something to say, say it when i walk by u at the game, don't run to the rail and not make eye contact...

In response to ur shot at keus, #7 didn't play his best game. But he will be just fine, he's a good kid and he's coachable. Unlike some other players who are playing out of position and the other that is a sophomore. Had i been the freshman coach last year, no way that kid would have played for me. I'm not going to name names like some other coward hiding behind his keyboard. Its funny, uve got one or two dads mad at me cause their kid can't play the game, and not wanting me to coach up there. Thats fine, but every kid at the after party was begging for me to come back and coach this year. Except for one that was there, and the other two kids along with their dads that didn't show their faces. Hmmmmmm.

Excellent post. Most who are associated with the government schools have no idea of the restraints placed on private schools. We have no bottomless pit of money known as the tax coffers. We must raise our own money and we pay hefty tuitions. And, through property taxes and income taxes, we subsidize the government schools while receiving no benefit from it. That is our choice. Actually, the benefits far outweigh the negatives. We are not burdened by all this liberal crap coming out of Washington and Frankfort.

Interesting, always thinking you know who people are on here, as I have told you in the past i am not a parent...just a football fan. Everyone knows exactly who you are with your negative post regarding kids, dropping the curse words with threats as if you are in grade school...come on man, you have got to be kidding! A pissed off parent would respond as you do when someone post anything about 45. I wonder if those dad's that you continue to talk about and threaten realize how much you despise them and their kids? You can't even hide behind two different user names because all your post continue to have the same tone...NEGATIVE!

Good luck to both teams throughout the remainder of the season! Both will continue to make adjustments and get better each week.
#25
Two different names?? WTF r u talking about, lol. Ur grasping at straws my man. It seems u have changed ur tone. I dont hide on here, u know who i am. How is the truth ever a negative??? The truth is, ur a coward, just like that punk mantax. Im thinking u might be the one with different user names??? Dont poke the hornets nest if u dont want to get stung. Im not threatening anyone on here. Typical B@#$% response, u get called out and its a threat.... Ill be at CCHS game, plz, plz come introduce urself.

NKY, u hating also? He practiced sunday and they were practicing today at Paul Brown stadium. Onespiritedfan, u liked that post? Mrs. B, im surprised....... I actually think ur youngest should get a look on that OLine, lord knows they need the help.
#27
Yeah, ur right NKY, Cooper was the better team. They won 31-0 didnt they???
#28
I read something above that scares me by reminding me of a team we had here in 07-08. We had a ton of talent but the boys were selfish. If you have that going on, I feel for you. That will kill the team and makes it no fun for the fan base. I hope they cure that cancer before it sets in for you. I hate for anyone to go through that.

Sorry, I liked the wrong post, lol. I meant to like NKY 2nd post. Damn phone, hard to get service on the road.

Cooper was dominated in its scrimmage against Dixie, and we know what happened to Dixie this week. The level of play in NKy seems to be dropping everywhere except Park Hills, and perhaps, Independence.
