The bears are home for the first time this year. This should be a good game. It will be interesting how this young bear team responds after last weeks game. I am going with the bears 26-20

We're always better at home with those home bleachers packed and Brad Paisley blasting through the speakers!!!
I understand Clay County's starting RB tore an ACL last week. I sincerely wish him the best of luck and a quick recovery.
At home, the Black Bears roll!!!

It was not Carr that was hurt but both Reid and Wolfe were injured. Still going to be hard to get a win against a good Bear squad on the road.

I didn't get any names. My husband was talking to one of his good friends from Clay, and he said their best RB had torn an ACL.
I wasn't been a butt hole when I wished this kid a speedy recovery. I HATE injuries! And I hate it when a talented young kid is side lined with something like this.

Going with Granny's Bears in this one. They come out strong after licking their wounds from last week. The Bears win by more than 2 Td's. proving they still have a lot of fight left in them.

Thank you Warrior Grandpa!!
Oh, we still have fight left in us; we just got to focus on our mental game this week!!
Good luck to Southwestern!!!

I understand, I know you weren't. I don't like injuries for any team because it means neither is at their best. Any time you lose valuable players it diminishes the team. Hopefully the coaches and players will receive good news and get back on their feet and have a successful season.

Closer than people think...
Harlan County 33
Clay County 21
Bears have to get a win here because their schedule is about to get U-G-L-Y. May very well be the underdog in their next 4 games after this one.

Yes, our schedule is about to go off the deep end. But in order to beat the best, you've gotta play the best!!

I just hope all of Harlan County comes out to watch and support this team Friday night. We have to get behind these kids and help push them through this first half of the season. I am tired of saying it and tired of hearing it BUT we do have a young and inexperienced team. They need our support!!!

Don't let last weeks final fool you about the Black Bears. Bryan Station simply had speed to burn all over the field and are a solid team.

Gosh I hope all these blowout predictions are right but I will just take a one point win with this team at this early in the season. We need a positive and a one point win is positive.

Carr runs for 250 and 3 TD's.
