It could have been bad. It was really the same story as last year. Rockcastle came out with good focus early, and as soon a they moved to Damien as the lone back it was over. Rockcastle Co. just doesn't have good team speed, but they will take guys on. Again this game would have been bad had it not been stopped due to lightning.

I actually thought the game was closer then what it was. With out the illegal man penalty. Game would have been 17-7 half. But that's what happens when you give a back like Harris another touch just before half. Rock is to one dimensional but had success. Freshman Brent Lovell and sophomore Dillon Rowe showed they are good backs but gonna need to pass a little more to open up the box. Rock is a lot close then last season but still a lot of learning and teaching to do. Just wish they would have finished.

This is football and playing Friday and then coming back Saturday to finish second half may not be safe for the players. Injuries happen when players are not focused and Southern would be at a big disadvantage from focus issue.
