Really happy to hear about Allen coming to Belfry as an assistant.

I have always respected him and think he will bring a lot to the table. Was a fierce competitor and student of the game at Breathitt County and Pikeville College. Really thought he did the most he could at East Ridge.

There are a some jobs that it literally would take a massive change of fortune and culture in order to be a winner year in and year out and ER was one of those. He actually built them to a nice level and had them on the right track, but I cna only imagine how frustrating that position is. Especially as your first coaching gig.

Would love nothing more than Allen to be a temporary visitor at Belfry for a few years...sharpening his skills under Haywood and learning how the Belfry feeder program works... then getting another shot down the road as a HC at a school more conducive to winning.

Belfry played Hazard they did ok but didn't have all their players... X played just a little bit and had been joking about scoring all the TDs...good Willis is back out though after the injury.

Man I aint trying to start no drama but lets be real, its not gonna be a game, the Hawks are still 3 to 4 tds behind us.. Look at the Middle school program, we crushed them then to, now its on to High school and I have to say they have the best coach in the state leading them now.. As long as Coach Haywood is coaching at Belfry Pike Central will never beat Belfry. And depending on who we hire after him will determine if you can still beat us then...just my opinion, although I am glad that ass you guys had before quit and now have a coach that is a hometown guy...irateShoirateSho

You have had a couple of "close" games with them all time. Right now an early line on this year's game would be Belfry by 28 plus.

Coach Thacker will definitely help the line. That has always been the biggest weakness with PC.

Put it to you like this, as a Belfry player and as a life long fan I never once marked the schedule or looked at when PC was on it and said "yep gonna be a tough one that week" you've never been so much as an afterthought. Last years 1st half was very scary. It's a good thing there is a 2nd half in football lol. 2nd half was a completely different story. 2nd half was like a practice for Belfry.

I respect your loyalty Hawk...But your right any give Friday can happen...we play late in the season and God forbid there are injuries to any player so that could happen to...And you got a new coach that could help in places..Chapman was an ass and if he had any class about him I would say PC would have beat us during at least one of those years you speak of...I'm just saying I know for a fact that as far as talent wise goes...Belfy is loaded all the way back to the 6th grade..so In my opinion I don't see the Hawks beating us for 7 more years..but we also have to consider that the way coal is and jobs are by the next alignment in 2018 we could both be in Class A
