I've heard that EVERY coach at HC (including Coach Larkey) was given a layoff notice. I'm sure most will be rehired, but apparently the principal wants to go a different direction in some sports, so she laid everyone off.

That's a good way to turn some solid coaches away from a program. Why would anybody do this? One of the biggest factors to high school programs is continuity.
