Um no uconn,, I want Florida and Florida only..
04-05-2014, 07:24 PM
There were a lot of punch drunk people to actually think Florida had a chance against UConn!
Only #7 seed to ever make the finals. They ARE that good!

Florida was flat out mismatched against a much quicker UConn team.
That's what happens when you don't have a bench.
I think UK struggles more with Wisconsin than I do UConn, assuming they win both. Of course, it could all end tonight.

I have said all tournament long, UConn is the ONLY team I feared. As much as I have said "UK has proven themselves and the Finals is their destiny", well it's impossible to not say the exact same thing about UConn!
I know many UK fans will not give UConn the credit they deserve, but if there is any team that is made for UConn to have their way, it is UK. When they go small, there has not been a single team in this tournament that has been able to match-up to them. They have the ability to take UK's size and turn it against them.

These 2 teams have a lot in common
Both were ranked in the top 10 at some point during the season
Both lost in their conference tournament championship game
Both lost 3 times to their conference champion (Kentucky - Florida) (UConn - Louisville)
Both beat the other's conference roadblock in the regular season and tournament
Both went 12-6 in conference play
Both average 6 blocks a game
Both programs are constantly accused of wrong doing

I seen where Alex is playing so good on that end, just hope it don't stop him from doing what he has been doing,UCONN guards are the best as a group they seen so are guards will they to stay out of foul trouble.should be gr8 game, just hope it don't come down like the last 3 games because there killing me,lol

UConn's guards do worry me a little bit, but if you look at what Florida's Young did to them on the inside, it looks very good for UK's big men on the inside. Young is the only reason UF stayed as close in the game as they did, he was dominate! As long as we can keep their guards from having a monster night, UK's advantage in the paint scoring and rebounding should give them the advantage to pull off the unbelievable title run.

the key is stopping Daniels from having a big night. Napier will either get his points or get his assists, it's hard shutting Napier down.
it's been awhile since UK has seen a defense like UConn, they've got some long guys. Randle, Johnson, and Lee have to dominate the paint.
I like UK in this one

guys I just posted this on the other thread...it will be a lot worse tonight
Guys State Street was awful, 21 arrest, 80+ fires, and 34 emergency room visits. About 5 different people taken out on stretchers. If you are coming just for state street, it's not worth it. If you do come then please stay on the sides of the street. People are getting hurt in the middle of the street.
I witnessed many guys purposely throwing half empty beer bottles and cans right down the middle of the street, trying to hit someone. I saw several people holding there head because of the blood, to the point it was dripping on the ground.

anyone doing that and get caught needs to pay the cost of what they tore up and sit in the county for a min of 11 months 29 days ( that's county time, lol) and if its bad enough some big boy time and then they will quit that mess and having the state of city have to pay to fix it..

I posted my response on the other thread. Should be a felon charge for them. As I posted in the other,, reason I don't go is to keep from killing an idiot. It's a shame we've won this 8 other times and act like a bunch of inbred assholes.
