Let me explain.... Wrestlers change their gimmick from time to time. Some cases, it will make them a superstar and in other cases, it turns them in to a laughing stock no-body.

EX. The Undertaker.
IMO, his worst gimmick was the demonic leader of the Corporate Ministry.

EX. Smash from Demolition.
Demolition was one of the best tag teams in WWF/E history. Then for whatever reason... Smash was replaced by Crush and Smash was given the repo man gimmick.



So let's hear some more......

F.U.N.B. Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan had been wrestling as the standard, boring red and yellow Hulkster for several months and the fans were getting bored of the tired act. Enter the new creative writers Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff. The created a Millionares vs. New Blood angle, which was basically an angle pitting the established stars against the new faces. Hogan of course was in the MC. After being attacked and injured several times by the NB, he came out and recanted his Hulkster persona, and said to call him by his real name; Terry Bollea. He wasn't going to take any crap from any of the NB, he was all business. He came out wearing simple black garb, including a black vest that said, "FUNB" on the back. In a classic WCW moment Hogan went to the camera and said, "The NB stands for New Blood, you figure out what the FU stands for. FUNB Hogan was a more hardcore Hogan. He fought Mike Awesome in a table match, where he was powerbombed thorough the lumber, and he was routinely busted open in his brutal feud with Billy Kidman. He also drove a all black classic Camaro. FUNB Hogan: The best, although shortlived, Hogan.

I used to like Mick Foley and all his gimmicks. I then realized he'd sell his mom to the highest bidder just to make a buck and I lost a little respect for him.

I think I'm the only person that enjoyed that era of Taker.

I have a hard time getting behind the other character because it's too over the top IMO.

I'm 29....

Between the Huntington Civic Center, Rupp Arena and the Charleston Civic Center... there wasn't a big name wrestler in the WWF I didn't see from the late 80's early 90's. It helped that my dad and uncle were big pro wrestling fans.

My all time favorite wrestler is the Macho Man. Mark Henry is currently my favorite. They've never had a bad gimmick.
