Phoenix Trip - Nice to be away, sucks to be BACK!!!
#1
Got in late last night from enjoying the hot weather in Phoenix. It was nice to be away while everyone at home suffered Wink

But after getting home and seeing these piles of snow, I wish I was back there....

Last Saturday's flight was really cool. It is always a need thing to see the snow capped Rocky Mountains and then the magestic power of the Grand Canyon from the window of a plane.

Sunday, we went to First Phoenix, a 21,000 seat mega-church that was just as incredible for the worship as it was to see

Monday we stopped at Arizona State, where the nationally ranked baseball team was playing an intra-squad game

To prove you can never get enough baseball, we stopped over at the Red's complex in Goodyear where the Fantasy camp was going on. All the coaches where there in masse, but I spent a few minutes with Kentucky's own Doug Flynn and got to chat with Billy Hatcher.

I hate cutting grass, but I guess this would be the alternative. The only grass that I saw on the whole trip was on the golf courses.

Finally, as we flew into Salt Lake City yesterday, I could not help but see the Salt Lake frozen over. I thought that Salt melted snow????
