He would be a great player at Vandy in that system.

Johnny_Ringo Wrote:Well Mix1 I just dont believe the hype. If Cam is a big time D1 prospect then that makes Justin Johnson eligible for the NBA draft this year. I just dont see all the differences that you guys see in some of these kids. I have saw Cordia and Hazard simply put Cam on LOCKDOWN! And that was with slow small guys. Not 6'5 studs he will be playing against at Vandy. Again not taking nothing away from Cam because I think he is great but I just think hes any better than Elijah Justice, Josh Whitaker, Tate Cox, and some of those other guys that have came out of the 14th region in the past few years. He may be the best shooter in the nation but if he cant get his shot off against Cordia and Hazard then hows he gonna do it with the big boys?

How about 36?

We all know what you guys think about the kid.
I heard one of you geniuses at the All-A the other night say that Camron was the best player to EVER come around here.

Should be 2nd on the state all time scoring list when he graduates. Pretty sure since last time that happened was in the 50s,, should merit him one of the top players to ever come out of here since King Kelly. If he was 6'4" we wouldn't be having this discussion. Well yea we would. Y'all still find something negative.

Not trying to bust your bubble Mix1 but he ain't better than Hoskins, Charles Thomas and several more that has come from this Mtn area! I love Cam and think he is a great scorer but just because you score the most points don't make you best player. Once again, Clark Stepp also had over 3,000 points. Does that make him the best player from the Mtns in Years? I wouldn't think so!

As a high school player? Yes he's one of the best. You have to be one of the best to score that many points. Stepp had 3,070,, Cam will come close to that this year as a junior. Last time I checked,, you earn points,, don't give em out for heck of it.

Still have to put them in the bucket,, lol. He'll be one of about 10 players since 1980 to hit 3k,, and one of 27 all time to hit it,, with a good chance of becoming #2. He may never score a point in college,, who knows. But in high school he's good.

Its about time Cam stepped up and had a big game against Cordia. When he SCORES big, Knott usually wins. He should of forced more shots against Hazard and they would of beat Hazard rather easily I think.
