The panthers are really starting to gel. Can't wait for the region IMO Knox is playing the best basketball of all the teams in the region. Just hope they don't peek to soon.

It's hard to say anything negative about them, though, because they play so doggone hard!

After the game Knox Central's Coach Brian Evans said that one thing he had to prepare his players for was how hard the Colonels play. He said they play so hard that it gets teams to play in this frenetic pace and that's when they go on runs.

Whitley County may not win the district or even make it to the regional tournament this year. We'll find out soon enough. But, this is a team that Jerry Overbey should be proud of. They are a tough group who get after it every night!

Whitley's ability to win games comes down to if they shoot well. Tonight they had good looks but the shots just didn't go in. KC a good team, well coached.

I don't think Whitley can win the region, but they certainly could win a game. As far as Knox Central, they have a great shot at winning the region, but it's hard to do it when you've not won it in years. The choke factor.
