I agree with it for the most part Pikeville is a bit of a shock, but they are playing well

I have a question about this top 10?
Prestonsburg beat pike central by 3 but still PC is ahead of them?

Yeah but you can't always go by game to game. Lowe was injured so that takes some of the crediability away from it even tho P'burg may have won anyway. By that logic East Ridge beat Belfry so they should be ahead of them and Lawrence beat Paintsville so they should be ahead of them. Sheldon Clark scored a win against Johnson Central so they should be ahead of them. That logic makes things impossible to rank.
In this kind of situation (where you rank the entire region when every team does not play one another) it has to be based on a season over-view not just a game to game thing.
02-07-2006, 04:57 PM
I think South Floyd should be moved a little closer to the top.
02-07-2006, 06:18 PM
Paintsville should NOT be 3rd. IMO they will drop out of the list after a couple of games without Williams.

Who knows, they may get better.

Ratings dont matter any more in the 15th because everyone has a chance, so i wouldnt say there is a best team in the region
02-07-2006, 10:06 PM
It doesnt matter who a team has beaten, but who have they been beaten by.
02-07-2006, 11:55 PM
I agree with Bill Tom.....it amazing how wide open this region is this year
02-08-2006, 01:33 AM
i definently think EAST RIDGE should be on the list somewhere...
they will be ready come tourney time!...you better belive it!

This poll was out BEFORE Belfry lost to PCC and before P-Burg beat AC.
The next one will definately be shaken up, I'd imagine.

Williams is back.

I think the region is so wide open that you could put all of the names on the wall and throw darts and stand a good chance of being correct.
So nights teams will look good and the next time you see them you wonder if it's the same team.

We'll see where SF lands after playing P-Burg for the 2nd time.
P-Burg beat the Raiders by 18 last time.

As of last night a date had still not been set for the P'burg SF rematch. Can't find one where both can play yet. but gotta have it in by the deadline.
