Final

Belfry dominated Pike Central in all facets of the game. 36-0 at the half...PCC adds a TD off the freshmen with 4 minutes to go and PCC missed the 2 pt. conversion. Belfry meant business tonight and stepped on the throat of Central and never let up.

Way to go Pirates!

Big statement made by the PIRATES. BELFRY proved how much better they were than PCC tonight. Defense was stout and offense was clicking. Great game pirates.

Way to go pirates! Also, congrats to the hawks on a great season, they have a very bright future. Should be very tough to beat next year with a lot of returning talent.

While state title contenders are battling out in the west, we get to blow out a lowly Pike Central team. I don't know whether to swell up with pride or wallow in pity.

I'm sure many Pirate fans are jumping for joy that Central went down...well, Wayne Co. dethroned the champ and THEY are the team to beat as of now.

Bourbon is more than a hump in the road gentleman, they are a legitimate threat to ruin what this group has worked for.

It's time to show out or go out.

Yes, Real Badman, PT won. That should be a slobber knocker between the Cards and Blue Tornado. Speaking of Blue Tornado, got a call earlier about Richlands. We talked about what teams Belfry had played that were still going, though it was a scrimmage Belfry pretty much smoked the Richlands Blue Tornado who won tonight to advance to the "final 8" of their class in Virginia. Just an interesting note.

Not even a close game Belfry's "D" clamped down and pitched a shut out but a Defensive td late by PC gave the their 6 pts. The Pirate "O" line dominated by rushing for 341 yards on only 36 total plays 255 of it came in the first half on 22 carries. Justin Johnson led the rushing attack for the Pirates 10 for 182 and 3 TD's.
The Pike Central Hawks had a great season but tonight after using 3 different QB'S their starter got hurt in the first half. Their back up played maybe 3 snaps and got hurt and then turned into the old Notre Dame Box as a running back who had neve taken a snap was called on to finish the game!

4 best teams in 3A line up and start going after each other next week. This is the final 4 most were predicting early.

Not like it matters to anybody on here...but I'm proud of my team, they had a good season despite several members thinking that we wouldn't been good this season.

I hated our effort last night...but whatever.

Bring a state title back to Eastern KY.

I'm always a very respectful to other teams, I'm not one to make excuses.

It's just I wish that sometimes my team gets a little respect...a little love if you will.

We've had a really nice season, I just wish it would have liked to seen it ended more competitively.

This is a Perfect Example why I do not like You and Most of Belfry Nation. Belfry the program is A Class Act and Re Re's like this is No Class at All. No Respect at All I doubt You even Respect Your own program. I take back my pick I now am for anybody that plays Belfry. Smh Re Re's

4 of the top six teams where playing it out for the chance to go the semi finals in the west. Belfry had what the rest of the state would consider a cake walk into the semi finals. Its great that both Lawrance Co and PCC made it as far as they did, but neither team is a true factor in the minds of Wayne Co, Lou. Central, Corbin, Belfry, Bourbon Co. or Paducah. I understand your bulldogs had a few years where they where relevant but don't get mad at the rest of the world because they haven't been in several years. Take it up with your coach and your youth groups.

Pike Central forced some no gains and stuffed some plays. But selling out to try to stuff plays at the line left none to make the play at the second level after it broke loose. Reminded me a lot of the defense PBurg used to play in 2003/2004.
