I counted 8 posts that said Valley would win and 5 posts that said Pikeville would win( up until my post). Maybe my counting is off. I still haven't read anything to believe that Pikeville is talking trash about winning the game.

Your going to give Pikeville fans hell if they lose? Valley is the basketball school and the better team. Basketball is the only sport the Valley has a chance of beating Pikeville in when it comes to boys sports and they have owned the Panthers for the past 5 years.

I agree 100% PHSFAN...basketball (and softball) is the ONLY sport Valley can beat Pikeville in...and by no means does Shelby Valley want to get into an academic bowl with the Panthers!...lol

Whats wrong with showing some confidence? It's about time someone at Pikeville shows some confidence and pride in the basketball program. Win or lose Valley has the better program in basketball.

Valley use to be a basketball school, their coach has brought them down a few notches. Valley will win this game if they remember they have a 6'5 center, but we all know their coach likes a three point shooter, and most of their starters will be on the bench at the 4 minute mark no matter how they are playing.

Shelby Valley should and more than likely will win this game. They are way more talented and athletic, however who's to say they might get out coached...Woulnd't surprise me a bit, O well, should be a barn burner!!! SV by 9...
