Should be interesting to see how it goes with the new Belfry defensive lineup. It worked like a fine machine versuses the run heavy Lawrence County team.. let us now see how it stacks up against PC's spread.

How Belfry defends the Hawks running game will be a key....They did a much better job in the first game in the second half...I love the new defensive alignment and I think that Belfry coming out aggressive is a key to the D...At Buckley's Creek they allowed the Hawks to dictate the tempo early and it almost cost them...Catron playing both safety and LB is a real good move and Duty at the nose was much more effective.

Belfry rolls 42-14.

Hard to win without your coach. Belfry 42-21

As much as I would love to believe that PCCHS would pull this one out, it is so hard to predict against Belfry. However, I would love to see the orange and blue prevail for the first time in school history because it would be huge for the future of the program.

Wishful Thinking Prediction- PC 38 Belfry 35
Logical Prediction- PC 27 Belfry 49

I think they have a better coach on the sideline. May is twice the coach and has 10 times the class.
#43
Hope to see a good blitzing game for Belfry. If we get pressure on them early the game will be over by half time.
#44
Belfry can't stop this pike central offense.
But pike central can't stop this belfry offense. With it being at cam.
I'll take the pirates.

I have been a big Pike Central proponent all year but I believe Belfry will be to much.

Interesting Note for this game coming up Friday, out of the remaining teams in 3A,
Belfry and Pike Central have two best "strength of schedules" (for lack of a better term).
The records are those of all these teams opponents as of this evening, so playoff games are included.

#5-South Warren-(58-76)
#6-Mason County-(56-76)
#7-Bourbon County-(56-77)
#8-Wayne County-(48-74)

With that said though, this is at CAM Stadium and Bowling Green is in the cross hairs of the pirates....provided they get through Paris first...

As always Pike Central will score some but they wont jump to a 19 point lead early in this one like they did in the regular season. The Pirates played some great football last week, Carr continues to be a beast in the backfield whose closing in on a 20 TD season.

That's wishful thinking....No way PCC puts up 38 @ Belfry. Central will be lucky to put up 3 scores. Period.

Trenity runs the football HARD, and has been running it better the last 3 games better, IMO, than all season long. Looking forward to this Friday!

If Belfry and Bourbon get through this week with a win, look for a sea of Red to invade Paris. Might need to bring in some more bleachers...

I prefaced my post by saying @ Belfry. And I'll stand by it. No way does Pike Central put up 30+ points @ Cam.

You are not much of a guru if you think this game is gonna be close...The second half of the first game is much more indicative of these two teams' abilities...Belfry is not Breathitt County.
