Who wins and why?

I am a mboro alum and believe it will be a good game but I am taking somerset by 2 Tds. Middlesboro's defense has become very suspect in recent weeks and I hear they are still banged up some. Too many key players out for season. I am gonna try and go to this one but somerset will take it

Hasn't this one already been decided.

Redstorm back from hiding on Middlesboro thread. First post on Mboro thread since his classic prediction that Bell big. Middlesboro will be the underdog, but they can win. You didn't help Whitley last week and my prediction was wrong. Not the hero.

Am I the only who thinks the seeding is so bizarre that Somerset is a three seed yet Middlesboro is the underdog.

Somerset by 10.

Bunnies take this one in the Big City! Don't get lost on the outskirts of town.

It will be a close one. Could go either way. I think it will be much closer than the last game. IF Middlesboro plays will heart and plays to their talent level there isn't a team in the region that could beat them.
They need to play similar to the way they did against Bell. I don't know if there was a team in the state that could beat them then.

This game should be a good ball game. Somerset is a healthy as they have been all year. Lang looked good against BL ran hard and had some good runs. If Doan comes back this is a very dangerous team. I think Somerset wins by 2td's +

Middlesboro by 2 TDs

What's the story on Doan? Do they expect him to be back soon? As much as I'd like to see him back I don't know if I'd risk it. He's young and has a bright future ahead of him, don't want to push him out there too soon.

This could be the 2A game of the week. Should be lots of fun. I hope both teams show up and play hard. Also hope that the fans come out and support better than they have the past couple weeks.

It's tough to come outta the crater with a win. If the Jumpers repeat their performance at Betsy Layne, their season will be over.
If they play up to their potential, though (and I think they will), they'll win another week of football:
Somerset - 27
Middlesboro - 22

I think the fact that the last time these two teams played was on Senior night with a fired up bunch of jumpers and a Middlesboro team who underestimated Somerset because of their loss to Danville. I really do think this game will be different.
This game really will come down to the heart Middlesboro plays with. I think this game will decided the Regional Champion.

Middlesboro's Def. is very suspect. Leslie Co. scored 28 on them more than they did against BL and Prestonsburg. I just feel like the Jumpers will play like they did against Glasgow and it will be lights out for Middlesboro.

He only had two catches this week...in fact Somerset only completed two passes...more to the team than just the speedy WR.

Somerset currently leads the poll 8-4, 3 weeks ago pretty much everyone except for Somerset fans were sure that Middlesboro would beat them... http://www.bluegrassrivals.com/forum/showthread.php?t=165112&highlight=somerset
All things considered, shouldn't M'Boro still be the favorite, especially playing at home?

A 60+ yard touchdown haha. He is very good and the most explosive player on the team through the regular season. Not the MVP in my opinion. When i define MVP i think of a player who carries the team and makes the play when it HAS to be made and the team relies on. Week in and week out the best player on the team is Brayden McWilliams. Maybe not the most explosive or the most flashy, but I think he deserves the MVP at this point. Always puts himself in the right spot at the right time. I've been very impressed with his senior year so far and i hope these seniors get 3 more games after this one at least. Second place IMO goes to Bryson Jones. I think this MBoro will be fired up and go for the neck of Somerset. Look for a barn burner, but when it comes down to it, Somerset knows how to win in the post season. (maybe not that last game though)
Somerset 28
Mboro 14

I say stop your passing game and it should be a good game.

It sounds like to me the Jumpers want to be the underdog. Which might work for them. But I would say that Middlesboro can't afford to see Somerset as an underdog like they did last time because any extra motivation they can give the jumpers, like last time, will give them life.
Middlesboro's secondary will have to play lights out

I would love to watch this one but way to far to drive....
