Rock comes to Knox for big district game!

Thoughts?

If you would have ask me about this game 6 weeks ago I would have said the panthers win big. Now I'm not so sure. This is a dangerous game for the panthers, rock is playing better and Knox is just be so so.
I look for rock to put up a fight in this one. Panthers have had two weeks to get ready for this.
Not taking anything away from rock but on paper is game should be a blow out. But I just don't see it. Rock can throw the ball pretty good and Knox has had trouble with thier pass defense all year. Look for rock to keep it close but panthers pull it out late.

They only have 3 or 4 seniors that play, they have a big Junior class not sure about the number. Panther Nation probably knows the exact number.

Knox starts 3 seniors Gist, D. Mills, and Doolin, they have a totale of 7 seniors. The rest of the starter are all juniors except for three. Two soph, one fresh.

But with this game being senior night I expect all 7 of the seniors to start.

I give up on Rockcastle, they are poorly coached and pitiful on who is allowed to play. Only fight yo will see is the parents wanting a new coach. As a few other fans told me after the Russell game, they won't be back until there is a change, I feel the same way, I will make it to a few but no way do I support this current mess. ALOT want change at the top.

Well I guess most feel the same way, at least the ones I talked to at the game have given up for this year and say everyone, players and coaches are just playing for next year. Which is sad considering the same parents kids who are playins say they wont be that much better next year cause they are still going to be very young.
Everyone is ready for a change in coaching a going a new direction, no parent friday night was happy or satisfied and all they talked about was getting rid of the coach.
The players hear it at home and have no faith in the coach either. where there is no faith, there is no hope.

Knox will win but our kids will try their best. I think our lineman (Lake) could play for anyone, he does a great job. Sad to see him have to suffer through the mess he has been put in.

I'm here bud....just not in the rah-rah mood. I don't write much because there isn't much to say that is good. Getting beaten is one thing that stinks, but when the team gives up with 8 minutes to go(dragging to the sideline with the heads down) and lets another walk over them for the remainder of the game when they are down by less than three touchdowns(8 minutes left) is another. Coaches quit coaching at the 7:21 mark with the same score because I saw the headsets put away in a box at that point and the assistants coming down the ladder on top. Not much to say that is good...and I won't write something online that I wouldn't say to someone's face. I like and respect the coaches as people and I like the kids. I love and have faith in my son....he didn't quit.....he won't ever quit no matter the score.

Yes I did see them put the head sets up n really stop coaching at that point ,, like I said before I just bite my tongue and take pride in my sons heart n play is all I can do

I didnt see all that, but if the coaches quit coaching, then the coaches should quit coaching. All I hear is next year, we wont be that good next year, still very young, then what, next year.
