Hearing all the talk about the tough defenses, etc., made me wonder. So I went to KHSAA's site to see the most recently updated stats. I know not everyone reports, but wow.....

Johnson Central does not send stats. And they're 4-0, winning by an average of 43.0 points per game...
#3
What's surprising? The fact that only 10 teams sent in stats or that they still rank the teams in a top 15 format when they only have 10 teams to compare?
#4
I think the ones he has posted are 1a schools
#5
Looks like just 1A with only 10 teams reporting stats. I wish it was mandatory to report stats.

The stats above don't really tell much with only 1/3 of the teams reporting in 1A.
#6
Last time I checked, barely 2/3rds of schools were reporting stats.
#7
It should be mandatory by the khsaa an fine the schools or coach.Just plain lazy.where are you Williamsburg stats man.:pondering:
#8
Oops. Can someone edit the headline? I meant to designate that these were 1A only, and yes, I'm shocked more schools don't report stats. There are a few other surprising stats mixed in there, I just thought more than anything what a shame it is so few schools report. Sorry for any confusion about these being 1A and not overall.
#9
^Gotcha, that makes more sense now.
#10
It makes me sick that not all the schools are reporting. I keep getting on there to see if Mayfield has posted any stats. We have played 5 games and nothing. I guess they don't want us to know just how close Jake Guhy is getting to the school passing record.
#11
South Warren has only allwed 3 points in 4 games. You cant go by the KHSAA states.
#12
I just looked last night at the 1a stats. They are very skewed at this point. I say this because, only 12 teams are reporting. That's not even half. Then you look at 8 of those teams being from the east region. The other thing that affects stats every year is that if you play soft teams yourself stats should be a lot better than if you play good teams. Every year I see examples of this when the playoffs roll around.
#13
By the way, one of the west teams was a Fulton team. They don't scream big numbers by any means.
#14
I would love to see everybody post stats every week.
#15
Me too.
