Not quiet as bad as I thought it would be.

Wayne must of pressured sizemore all night because I heard he had like 5 ints.

Williamsburg will learn more from this game than they will in any of their district games. It's part of a process that will help prepare them for the elite Class A teams that they will eventually face in the playoffs.
#9
Well they had to at least have learned a little humility.

That might be asking a little much for a few of them....

myIQis55 could use a little humility.

Not sure Dalton should have played tonight..With the ankle issue he could not run, escape the rush, or plant his foot to throw...I think he had 6 ints one for a pick 6, just not his night but gutty performance playing hurt...
#13
The kid needs to just come out and save his self for the playoffs.

Wayne is on a different level. Wayne would do the same to every team in 1A football, except Mayfield, and i still think they would win that one by 2-3 scores.
Wayne fans should be loving this year. I cant ever remember Wayne being this talented.
Wburg has got a lot of things to go over, but if they want to make a run at 1A, then this game will help the very much especially when there district is as bad as it is.
Wburg has to be able to handle the pressure better if it is true that Sizemore threw 5 picks. Good thing to work on this week.

Do you guys think wayne can come out of the west and beat central.if so do you guys think they could.beat belfry.in the title.game? Are they really that good?
#16
Not blaming them for the loss, but the refs tonight did a horrible job. Not keeping control of the game directly led to a player gets piled on after he lost his helmet and getting carted off the field. The whistle was extremely late so players kept playing. Ref was out of position all night and missed several facemask on both teams that led to player frustrations which inevitably led to kids getting hurt unnecessarily. Hope to never see him working another game.

Ive been saying since last season that Wayne would beat Central this year.
I think Wayne can beat Central and if they can beat Central they have a great shot at beating Belfry as well.
#18
Exactly right. Home fans were livid but all officials fault. Then they got flag happy. Rough night for that veteran crew.
#19
Here we go again. The first loss was because they had to wear orange and set on the sunny side. Now they lose again. This time because of the officials and the qb came back too soon. He threw 5 or 6 ints because he couldn't plant. I bet the fact that he couldn't plant had nothing to do with the d line in his face. I bet the ints had nothing to do with the db's.

Mothers always get upset when a kid is hurt. Most of the fans knew the refs were more to blame for what happened than the players. They have got to keep game under control.

Wayne will have their hands full with Corbin! I cannot wait, two more weeks to go. It will be a knock down drag out. I know we can beat Wayne just don't think you guys realize what's happening here in little old CORBIN. Gut what you seen tonight wasn't even the tip of the iceberg these kids are for real! Just don't think we should be talking a state titles, there is a hell of game still yet to be played my friends!!!

As I said, not blaming refs for loss.. I was blaming them for letting a kid get hurt. Wayne is a much better team and would have won game no matter what. The refs let game get out of hand. If they make proper calls during game the players don't get as frustrated and when players helmet comes off both teams back off. By letting frustration build, both players keep playing and one gets hurt. I truly hope you do not represent an average Mayfield fan because a team as good as Mayfield deserves better.

All his scans came back good and creekmore will be back for Harrison Co.

Not blaming the officials for the loss by no means but the kids should have been protected more. Creekmore had his helmet ripped off by the face mask (play should have been called dead immediately) 3 to 5 seconds later the whistle was blown but not before 1 other defender came in diving with his head lowered aimed directly at the helmetless head of creekmore but i guess the khsaa doesn't have a rule for helmet to head only for helmet to helmet. two plays later the same kids involved in ripping the helmet off creekmore they tried to do the same thing to Griffith and still no helmet to helmet called but they did call face mask this time. i sure hope the film of this game officiating gets sent to the khsaa not because of a game changing call but for the safety of the kids.

Went about as I thought. Wayne just too strong for Williamsburg.
Hope wayne can make it to BG and play belfry would be a hell of a game.

I think there has been an emphasis made by the KHSAA. I thought there was some contact after the whistle, jumping on piles, and some face mask that were not called before this play happened (on both sides). If those calls were made the accident still probably would have happened. I do not think it was a dirty play on the tackle without the helmet. I do think the grabbing of the helmet (why it came off should be a penalty ), but that is an instinct play. Prayers for the young man.

You need to troll somewhere else. If you read the post from the Williamsburg fans you would know that there are no excuses being made just obvious facts being stated. The crew let things get out of control from the beginning and I'm sure there were calls that they missed from us too. After watching the film the initial hit was helmet to helmet which they didn't call. Then his helmet was pulled off by his face mask which they did call but didn't blow the play dead immediately. The player who pulled his helmet of then continue to hit him and take him down. We lost and you learn from it. It will only help us in the long run. A perfect season has never been our goal. Keeping the players on the field safe should be a goal for everyone especially the refs.

Cong: to Shawn and his Wayne Co. Team. Wayne has a real shot at playing on Carpet in Dec.

People are talking about an accident where a kid got hurt. No excuses!!! Low class trolling those comments. As far as the qb I do not know.
