Cox had TJ surgery. I was not at practice yesterday, but I will bet you he did not practice full contact. He has an appointment on the 9th to see if he can be released. I doubt if we will see him until district. He will be taking a big chance if then. This surgery takes a full year to throw again. But football involves no throwing for him so he may can go. Still not healed. He is a great athlete and will help when he comes back. He probally needs to move to the line. Our RB are fine he is no RB.

Being from Knox how do you get this info. Are you going to our practices?

I think he forgets he is from Knox sometimes. Hard to pull for both teams. Who will you be pulling for when we play Bell?

Cox's dad told me that he has been practicing for weeks just can't do any contact yet. I would say he is practicing with pads to get used to it so when he comes back he will be ready to go.

Sorry, he was just released to run a few weeks ago. He has not been practicing in pads and def. no contact. He is not in playing shape and will have to go through the practice days before he can play. KHSAA rules still apply for practice days in helments and pads. Still he has the Dr. on the 9th. before he is released even if he is released. I am excited about his return , but his health is the most important. We will need him for the district games , but not Whitley.

I would say that is why he was practicing in pads.
Each player, in order to be eligible to participate against another school and to become acclimatized and acclimated, shall have taken part in a minimum of five practices without pads during on or after July 15, followed by three days of non-contact practice in helmet and shoulder pads, followed by five (5) practices over five days in full gear. KHSAA He is still not released. Big chance for school and coach liability. Looking at schedule for that to happen it will be districts.
So Bell Co. is practicing a kid that has had surgery without a Dr.'s release to return. Very risking.
Cox has been released to practice. He has been out there for weeks Dr. has released him. the contact with his arm is what hasn't been released is what I have been told. Bell is doing nothing against the rules. Go and ask his Dr's if you like.

Thanks for feeling us in. I heard that from 1 if my buddies but I was not sure? Hopefully he will be back soon.

That is what I was saying. Once he has a full release he will have 8 days 5 full gear contact and that puts him into Wayne Co.

5 days of full pad practice is all it says. He doesn't have to be released to play, just practice.
We had a kid this year, that we wasn't for sure about practice time before our scrimmage. KHSAA said 5 days in pads. that was it! Doctor release or not. He had surgery on his arm and didn't affect practicing and running in pads.
I'm confused :goofy: is he or isn't he practicing
After watching Knox the past 2 weeks mo one is scouting them.they are way overrated

What does that have to do with bell playing Whitley?? Nothing!!!!

You continue to make my point. He practices 5 days in pads. So is he practicing 5 days in pads now without a doctors release for contact or does he practice 5 days after a dr release with contact. If they are practicing him now with contact he hasn't been released. Risky. Once he is released he has 5 days of contact. Just walking around with pads on does not count. Contact, to get use to it. KHSAA.

My post above is what it reads I copied and pasted the rule. Full gear means contact.KHSAA
Is Mills from Whitley still out?
Bell wins even if Mills plays.

WhyLie you are not even a Bell fan. You must be worried about Cox getting back. You must be worried that he will be back against your team. Quit acting like your are one of the Bell County faithful. He is back and practicing and everything is legit I was there myself today and he has been cleared by a Dr. Everything that Bell County is doing is by the books they are not going to jeapodize a young mans health. He has been practicing for weeks under very good care of medical staff.
Really, so was I and no pads today. . So you are telling me he will play tomorrow? Did not see him in the teams.

Let me use one of your favorite line,"You don't know what you are talking about".

One other thing Me and my family has been a Bell fan long before you came up here.
Confusednicker:

Bell is so bad this year even there fans are turning on each other.
panther nation Wrote:What does that have to do with bell playing Whitley?? Nothing!!!!

Not going to happen. Bell wins.
GO WHITLEY!!!!!!!!!!

Don't let them come to your place and STEAL a win!!!!!
