I just think it is hypocritical from the KHSAA. The best option is week 4. I also think the old ignorant ways of doing things should be gone. There are enough studies that have been done to show how bad some injuries are. I also do not think a varsity and JV game are comparable. It is crazy to think that the organization that should be students first would let this happen when there is a easier solution. It should be student first not coach first.

I don't know whose fault last night was, but keeping us there 5 hours just so they didn't have to refund our ticket money was beyond ridiculous. I guess they just wanted more concession money. On a more serious note, please pray for one of our players little brother. Skylar Griffith's brother was hit in the head by a falling tree limb and had to be rushed to UK hospital last night.

We have ran a first class bowl game for 13 years and never a glitch. Ive just heard too much and can't let it keep giving us a bad name.

First, we were going to pay Williamsburg and Wayne County the multiple thousands of dollars as signed even though there wasn't going to be a game played.

Secondly, we sent food to Williamsburg players and coaches during the delay.

Thirdly, we fed the whole team a catered meal afterwards also even though there was no game.

Fourth, there was a meeting of all involved which included the head coaches, administrators, officials and bowl committee. In that meeting Williamsburgs coach agreed to play on Sunday or Monday. South said Monday only and North and Wayne coaches said they'd play whenever except for their only open week of the season.

Fifth, the players, coaches and fans had to stay and wait because Williamsburg went back and decided they were only going to play on Norths open week or not at all.

Sixth, we didn't have anything to do with running concessions or making money off the people who waited so long. We are and will be honoring all ticket stubs tomorrow and announced several times to get and keep your tickets for re admission. We are not money hungry like it has been going around.

Seventh, we will still be respectful and polite even though so many visitors have not returned that attitude.

I am very disapointed with the KHSAA rulling on the continuation of this game. Both of the teams had week 4 open, but North Laurel refused to play Williamsburg on week 4. Now, by KHSAA rule the kids must play two varsity games within a 5 day period. This seems stupid and unneccesary to me. The first job of the KHSAA should be to protect kids. Two varsity football games in a week simply put student athletes at risk.

Not the first time it has happened. Just the way it goes. Play Monday and go on with the season. Week 4 a very bad idea.

I dont care when it is played. Doesnt hurt my feelings either way, im not a fan of either team, i just think both schools are lucky to have monday off school, and it would be a great day to have a game where the teams could prepare all day for it.

Injuries are part of the game. Whether its your best or worst player, it doesnt matter, you move on. I dont see why it matter anyway, if Wburg loses, big deal, it has no effect on there postseason and to be honest, there going to run away with that district so they wont need it for a tiebreaker.

Just play the game.

eight i am one of those visitors and i can guarentee you that we were not the only ones that have given you a bad name, you.. Not us changed the side of the field we used from the visitor which we were to the home side which we weren't
